Honestly when I hear a name like Destinee or Precious, etc., my opinions reflect much more on the parents than the bearer of the name.

OMG. I see alot of Crystal's. LOL. My full name is Crystal Ann Craig. I'm not cheap, I've never wrapped my body around a pole, or left the house wearing a skirt that didn't touch my knees. LOL I find sometimes it's not the first name that can change the impression, but the last name.
    - Crystal -

Don't feel bad - when I google my own name (Cassie) a lot of questionable ladies pop up and that's totally not me, either.

Names that sound down-market to me usually fits one of these 2 criteria:

    a. starts with a "K"
    b. has the "lyn" syllable somewhere in it

    That is all.
    bluebonnet
texan mama to Frank Reagan "Frankie", Christopher James "CJ", and Ginger Grace "Gigi"

I can't help it... Russian/Eastern European names given to North American-born baby girls are trashy sounding to my ear... such as Nikki, Nikita, Nadia, Tatiana, Natasha, etc.

I think Addison and Madison make it appear as the childs parents are mentally deficient or lower class.

    Also names spelt with Y's in replace or vowels and random H's, these are some examples I've seen used;
    Ryleeh?
    Kaylyn?
    Aaleyah?

Names like Skye, Angel, Krystal and Jade.

Also Mckenzie, Brookelyn, Reese, and other 'masculine' names on girls I can't stand! They make me think the parents are really uneducated!
    My Favorite Names
Verity, Geneva, Martha, Anya, Amelie, Esther
James Kennedy, Roman Thomas, Lucas Henry

in addition to the virtue names that everyone has said (Destiny, Precious etc...) i think a lot of -lyn or -aya/yla names fall into that category for me.

    Jadalyn
    Ashlyn
    Brinlyn
    Caelyn
    Taya
    Shayla
    Kayla etc...

Few others that pop into my head:

    Jade, Brielle/Briella

that's interesting... all of the Addison's, Mackenzie's and Madison's i know have doctors, bankers or other successful parents.

@jojocastle I think that calling people "mentally deficient" is a really inappropriate choice of words.

I HIGHLY disagree.... it doesn't make a parent uneducated to pick masculine name. Mackenzie is ALL girl to me. I have NEVER met a boy Mackenzie. The Mackenzie's I know actually come from VERY educated parents. My cousin's daughter is named Mackenzie so I found this offensive.
