    Full Name For Callie

I'm writing a story and I'd really like the herione's name to be Callie, but it seems really simple as a first name, I would rather use it as her nickname. So my question for all you berries out there is this: What would be a good full name? Here are the ones I came up with

California- This is cute, but state names seems kinda...dumb to me.

Caledonia- I like this, but its the name of a town about 13 miles away from where I live, and so that's the only thing I can think of.

Callista- I like this name A LOT, but I don't know it feels sort of uppity to me.

Any names you all can think of would be great!!

Love Callista/Calista! I unfortunately met one recently that pretty much ruined it for me, but I still think it's gorgeous and would love to meet one that changed my opinion of it.

I also love Caroline/Carolina and Calliope (kuh-LIE-oh-pee) for the nn Callie. I've also heard of Kalina nn Callie, too...

Calantha and Calandra are direct and have pretty meanings.

I've also known Callies who were Carolines, which is less direct, but is a very classic and lovely name.

Calico is spunky and whimsical but I don't know that I'd use it as a first name.

Wow I love Callista! Even consider to use it for my own future daughter.

Beside that,, I can only think about Calliope and Calliandra. Or Calypso.

I actually really love Callista. It's fresh and unexpected but not odd; I don't think it seems uppity at all. Other than that I think Calliope is your best bet.

Caledonia is gorgeous, there's a beautiful song by that name! The version by 'the Celtic women' is beautiful. Caledonia is the ancient roman's name for Scotland, like Hibernia was for ireland. You could possible bring the Scottish connection into your novel.
