I like both! I'm more likely to use Marlowe, though--it feels more girly, more timeless, and strong, and I love the added connection to Christopher Marlowe. While I like Harlow, it seems kind of "empty" compared to Marlowe, if that makes sense, and I think it's a lot more trendy than Marlowe is. I like Harper a lot more than Harlow, too. But I do really like both!

I like both, but I prefer Marlowe. I'm never quite sure which spelling of Marlowe I like best, though, which is a pretty unusual characteristic in a name for me. I also like Marlow and Marlo.

Neither. Harlow is a tad better, but they both sound masculine and Harlow is one letter off from Harlot.

I don't care for either really, not my taste i guess. but marlowe is better in my opinion than Harlowe. I think of Harley and I don't like that name

I don't like either. I don't find them particularly feminine or attractive, and in general I don't like most names ending in o (with the exception of Spanish and Italian names).

I don't like either. I LOVE Marlowe on a boy to be named after Christopher Marlowe.

I really like Marlowe a lot!! I'm always happy to see it discussed on this site : ) I prefer the Marlowe spelling than Marlo/Marlow. The E makes it appear more feminine to me. I have gone back and forth on the name Marlowe for my own girls list several times. I think if I ever decide to use it, I would make it a double barrel, Mary Marlowe. I like the idea of pairing it with a very feminine name since some consider Marlowe to be too masculine. I say use it, I love it!!

I like Marlowe best. If Harlow hadn't been "taken" by Nicole Ritchie, I would like it more than I do now, but the poetic aspect of Marlowe has richer appeal IMO than the silver screen Greta Harlow reference.
