Looking for Girl names starting with Z!

    Hello everyone!

My daughter is due in about 5 weeks and we still do not have a name!
I like Z! Please suggest some names, it could be international, traditional, modern or anything but the meaning should be nice!

    Thanks!

The Z names I like I like that dearest seems to have left off are:

Zadie - variation of Sadie as in author Zadie Smith (born Sadie) means "princess"
Zafira - Arabic meaning "to succeed"
    Zahara - Hebrew meaning "flower"
    Zaria - Arabic meaning "rose"
Zea - ZAY-uh, Latin meaning "grain"
    Zelda - German meaning "luck"
Zelia - Hebrew meaning "zealous, ardent"
Zeta - Greek meaning "born last"
    Zinnia - Latin flower name
    Zoe - Greek meaning "life"
Zofia - Czech, Polish & Ukrainian variation of Sophia meaning "wisdom"
Zola - Southern African meaning "quiet, tranquil" or Literary surname
Zora - Arabic & Slavic meaning "a bargain"
Zuzanna - Slavic variation of Susanna meaning "lily"
Zuzu - Czech diminutive of Susan meaning "Lily"

I also second dearest's suggestions of:

Zanna - a diminutive of Susanna meaning "lily" or a Polish variation of Jane meaning "God's gracious gift"
Zara - Hebrew meaning "princess" or Arabic meaning "to blossom"
Zia - Hebrew meaning "light" or Italian meaning "aunt"

I hope that helps! Best of luck

If you can't find a name beginning with a Z that you like why not choose one that sounds like it starts with a Z, in particular the name Xanthe (prnd as Zan thee), it means fair haired.
