help name baby that's due in 2 weeks
I've made countless lists but haven't found "the one". I'm open to new suggestions, or combos made with some of the following names I like, or even nickname suggestions. I need guidance. =) Last name starts with a T, two syllables.
Names I'm drawn to:
Luna - the only one that has been on the list the entire pregnancy, I associate the word lunatic though which is why I'm unsure
Josephine - the way it is, or nn JoJo, Josie
Pandora - love this one but husband is the one unsure, any cute nns?
Saphina - any nns?
Seraphina or Serafina etc - I don't like Sara as a nn, is this unavoidable?
Seraphine - really loving this, but again don't like Sara as nn
Saoirse - both of us LOVE but we're afraid of problems with pronunciation and spelling and possibly baby hating it later in life
Minka - love, hubby is just ok with it, any names I can use to get Minka as nn except Wilhelmina?
Rosalie or Rosealine - only as middle name
Arcadia - is it too close to the word arcade or does it sound like a car?
Violet - like it but afraid it's becoming too popular
Sparrow - a bit of a gp
Lumi - any names to get this as a nn? I feel it's not substantial enough to stand alone
Athena - another gp
Penelope - not fond of penny as a nn
Guinevere or Genevieve - pretty but unsure

Luna - This is nice, and would love to see a little girl named this.
Josephine - I like the nickname Josie, and there's nothing wrong with Josephine, but it just rubs me the wrong way.
Pandora - I don't like this one, I think the reference is a little too obvious. Also, I just don't think it sounds pretty. Nicknames...Panda? I can't think of too many besides Pan or Dora.
Saphina - I love the sound of this one, but I do prefer it spelled Sapphira. You could get Saf, or Sapphire out of it.
Seraphina or Serafina etc - I love Seraphina, it's so pretty and has such a strong meaning to it. I think you can get away with not using Sara as a nickname. I know plenty of people with long names that just go by their full first name. Another nickname is Fina or Finn.
Seraphine - Pretty, but prefer Seraphina.
Saoirse - I can never remember how to pronounce this one, but there definitely will be a lot of pronunciation and spelling issues.
Minka - It's ok, I think better as a middle though.
Rosalie or Rosealine - I like Rosalie better, but I prefer Rosalia overall. Pretty name either way.
Arcadia - I always see Arcade in this name, also, it's a city near where I live, so I personally wouldn't use it.
Violet - Pretty! Maybe you could spell it Violette or go with a variation of Violet if you want something a little less popular.
Sparrow - Not my favorite bird name, but if its paired with the right first name, I think it could give a really cool, mysterious feel to it.
Lumi - I see this as a nickname for Luna.
Athena - Nice name, but I wouldn't use it. I see a strong, feminine girl who is really good at sports.
Penelope - I actually really like Penny as a nickname. The name Penelope is nice enough, but I would rather see it on someone else.
Guinevere or Genevieve - Love, love, love Genevieve! That name is on my top ten list! I really like the nickname Evie with it.~inside this teenberry's mind ~~Please vote on constantly changing middle name possibilities
Feel free to comment and suggest!

Luna - Short, sweet and lovely, the lunatic connection is not something I would be troubled by personally.
Josephine - I like the nn Posy, not too into J names in general but Josephine is sweet, partly because there are so many nn possibilities.
Pandora - Penny, Doe, Dora, Dot even, Annie, a wonderful name ^^
Saphina - Don't get where this is coming from, nn maybe Fifi of Fina. Would probably do Sabina myself.
Seraphina/Seraphine - Fifi again is a nice nickname, Fina, Fia, Rafi?. I like Seraphine more, but they're both lovely
Saoirse - I think any name you choose has the potential to be hated by your child. It's not something you can avoid by picking the right name, because it all comes down to who your baby grows up to be. Saoirse is a nice blend of feminine but not frilly and sounds like a fairytale princess or feisty pirate. People will get used to the spelling but it will probably be little bit troublesome. Not more than with Jhaisylyn though
Minka - I love names ending in -ka! Minka is very sweet. Minea, Minerva, Minver, Miniver and Mintara would be nice ways to get there.
Rosalie - I too prefer Rosalia, or Roseanna.
Arcadia - Lovely, I don't have the same referances as you since I'm in Norway so no arcade or car for me. If you worry Aradia is also beautiful.
Violet - Lettie is my favourite nickname, it's too popular for me personally. Viola is also very nice, I also have a soft spot for Violeta.
Sparrow - I like Sparrow. Very sweet, especially as an unexpected middle.
Lumi - Lumina is a way to get to Lumi (or Minka!). They also have the elaboration Lumikki in Finland. Lumina is a favourite of mine.
Athena - I love Athena but never actually enough to consider her for a future child. Thea or Ana might be nicknames.
Penelope - is very fun. Poppy is a popular nickname option, I think you could do Lola as well. Or my favourite, Nell
Guinevere/Genevieve - Never really liked any of these, probably the J sound in Genevieve and the Gui- part of Guinevere. I'm somewhat picky like that. I like Geneva or Genoveva more (the Neva/Nova parts do the trick) and Gweneira as a Guinevere alternative. I also came across Annevieve once, and I love that one!
My favourites on your list are Pandora, Seraphine, Saoirse, Minka, Arcadia, Sparrow and Lumi.
Pandora Luna
Seraphine Lumi
Saoirse Rosalie
Minka Josephine / Minea Luna
Arcadia Violet
Sparrow Athena (or Sparrow Penelope)
Lumi Pandora / Lumina SparrowResident Norwegian, feel free to ask any questions regarding lovely Norse names and such! I'm more than happy to help ^^

Luna - The meaning "moon" is nice but I hear teasing potential "Looney Tunes" because your last name start with T
Josephine - nn JoJo, Josie, LOVE IT
Pandora - Like the nn idea of Penny that dearest gave you
Saphina - NMS
Seraphina or Serafina etc - can only think of Fina as OK alternative to Sara
Seraphine - Just use the full name and people will come up with their own nn
Saoirse - No idea about pronunciation, you could put it it the middle
Minka - Millicent, Araminta
Rosalie or Rosealine - prefer Rosalie or more elaborate Rosalinda
Arcadia - Cannot shake arcade with this one
Violet - would not use a T ending name with a T starting last name, Violeta / Violetta could work -Yolanda has the same meaning and you could JoJo as nn
Sparrow - I think of pirate Jack Sparrow... sorry
Lumi - I like the suggestion of Lumina, but for Light meaning I would go for Lucia
Athena - not into place names, but does sound sweet
Penelope - nn Pepper instead?
Guinevere or Genevieve - would go for nn Gwen

Incredibly helpful! I'd love some more combos, from names on the list or even with a new name added to something listed. I feel like I'm finally getting somewhere now =) I was so afraid we'd be bringing her home from the hospital unnamed.
