Need Help Nameing our Third Girl

    Hi Ladies -

My husband and I just had our 20 week ultrasound and our overjoyed with the excitement of finding out we our having another girl, but greatly in need of help as our girl list is pretty much completly depleted. We like pretty names, but not overly common and it is great if they can mean something nice.

Our oldest daughter is Esmee (ez-may) Kate and our second is Siri Grace. Esmee Kate means "loved pure" and Siri means many things, one being, "beautiful grace". The only name I have "left over" is Felicity Eve, which means "happy life". We like it, but would like to fall in love with a name not neccessarilly using our "left overs". Please any suggestions would be great.

I think Carys or Kerensa might work really well - they both mean "Love" or "to love". Kerensa Eve would be wonderful, IMO.

    Congratulations -- sharing your joy!

If you should have a fourth girl someday:

    My recommendation is ...

    01. Bijou [French - "jewel"]
    02. Esme [French - "esteemed" or "loved"]
    03. Ulla [Scandinavian diminutive of Ulrike - "prosperity and power"]
    04. Siri [Scandinavian diminutive of Sigrid - "beautiful, fair victory"]

... as a sibset comprised of equivalent French and Scandinavian names ending in "a", "e", "i" and "u".

Esmee Kate & Siri Grace are beautiful names. I like that you chose them in part because of they're meanings. Your daughters will feel that you really cared when you chose their names and did so thoughtfully and lovingly. I like the name Felicity Eve, but maybe the meaning of "happy life" is not as deep as the meanings of your first two daughters' names. Here are some suggestions, based partly on the meanings:
    Beatrice Hope (cheerful hope)
    Beatrice Faith (cheerful faith)
    Felicity Hope (happy hope)
    Allegra (joy)
    Nadia (hope)
    Joy
    Alethea (truth)
    Tehila (happy song)

If you have a meaning in mind that you'd like to give your daughter, you can use the advanced search in www.babynames.com or the super search here on nameberry and put in your prefered meaning. That might give you some more ideas.

Thanks Ladies for your suggestions thus far. After some more braistorming what do you all think of the name Geneva - I hate that it doesnt have a great meaning, but love the nn possiblibilities....i.e. eva, gigi, just seems playful. Do you like Geneva with Esmee and Siri as her sisters or is Felicity a better fit?

Congratulations on your new daughter!! Geneva would be gorgeous!!!
Mother of three teenagers: (1) Daniel Glen, (2) Timothy Austin, and (3) Rebecca Jane... all middle names honor family... 3rd generation mn Jane. (A second girl would have been Susanna Eve and a third boy, maybe Isaac...)
