Douglas as a girl?
What is the feminine form of Douglas?
My brother and sister in law are having their second girl next week! They asked me to help
knowing the name nerd I am.
. They wanted to name her after my mom, Susan. They were thinking of Susannah... Their first daughter is named Alison Elizabeth( Alice is SIL's moms name and SILs name is Elizabeth). It was recently brought up to metro continue the naming theme... So Susannah would be after my mom and the nn would either need to be Douglas or something related to it. Need lots of help here! Baby is due for csection next week! Two Little Girls Due Feb 23rd

A very, very long time ago, Douglas was a girl's name.

Maybe Douglyn? It is too trendy and made up for my personal taste, but may appeal to you. Agirlinread is correct though, Douglas does have history as a female name.

It could work as a middle name, for the reason pp said. However, I think it would be nicer if you used a girl's name with the same meaning.
Girls: Cordelia, Phoebe, Rose
Boys: Lucian, Cedric, Gavin
