It's cute in a whimsical way for me, I loved the Borrowers (book) as a kid. I remember Arriettys mom was named Homily which I also thought was cool at the time.

Reminds me too much of the Borrowers to imagine it on a real life size kid.

    Is it pronounced air-ee-et-ee?
If so, then there is an Italian girls name pronounced the same way but spelled Ariete. Which I think looks much nicer.
As for middle names, what about...
    Ariete Violet
    Ariete Victoria
    Ariete Theresa
    Ariete Sylvia
    Ariete Susannah
    Ariete Rachel
    Ariete Mae
    Ariete June
    Ariete Margaret
    Ariete Lucy
    Ariete Lillian
    Ariete Josephine
    Ariete Catherine
    Ariete Helen
    Ariete Frances
    Ariete Gwendolen
    Ariete Claire
    Ariete Augusta?

Have you considered Arietta. Found it way back in my geneology and thought it was a neat name. It means a short aria. Aria is a musical term...just not sure what exactly that means.
