Is there anything I can do with the name Vincent?

First let me clarify........No, I don't want to name my daughter Vincent.

But it is my grandfather's name (he means a lot to me), and I always dreamed of using Vincent as a first or middle name for my son if we ever had a boy. Well, I am pregnant with our last baby, which will be daughter number 3. While I am excited to have my 3 girls, I am also a little sad that I will never get to use Vincent.

So I need some ideas if anyone has any.......is there anything I can do with the name Vincent to make it more usable for a girl? Even if I can find a girls name that is somewhat related or inspired by Vincent, it would be meaningful to me. I just don't even know where to start with this one!

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

What about Vincenza? Vincentia? Or Lavina, it has the Vin sound in there. Vivian also sound a little similar to my ear as well.

What about Vinnie? Nameberry lists it as a nice girls name, diminutive of Lavinia and a nn for Vincent. Is there anything else you can use in memory of him? Last name, birth month, anything that he loved?

What about Vincenza? That's the only female variant I can think of. Or maybe use his initials? There are a lot of pretty "V" names--Violet/Viola/Violetta, Vivienne/Viviana, Vienna, Veronica/Verona/Vera/Verity, Viviette, Valeria/Valencia/Valentina/Valerie, Vanessa, Vanina (I don't even know how legitimate it is, but I know this Argentinian/Italian family, and their oldest daughter is Vanina. They always said it was a form of some Italian name?), Victoria/Vittoria/Victoire, etc.

Since Vincent means "conquering", maybe you could do something with a similar meaning? Vinette is another form of Vincent I found, and Nicole/Nicolette/Colette/Cosette all mean "victory of the people". And Victoria of course means "conqueror; victory"...

    Good luck!

As previous posters have said, there's Vincentia and Vincenza. Apparently Vinceta is another variation, according to Nameberry.

You could also use Vinci (as in Leonardo da Vinci) - and, this one may be a stretch, but you could take the last four letters and go with Millicent.

Put Vincent in the mn spot or go with two mn's and make it the second mn. You could pull Nettie from Vincent for mn or nn (Vincent=net=Nettie)

To me, Lavinia is the perfect solution if it's compatible with your other two girls' names.
