I LOVE Hermione! I love that some people are brave enough to use it despite Harry Potter. It's not like she's a bad character anyway. I love the mythological connection.

Hermione Giselle and Fleur Evangeline/Orelia
I did immediately think of Fleur Aurelia but you said no A names, which I understand completely! But that's why I suggested the O spelling variation of the name.
Both fn's are beautiful,Hermione is my all time favourite girls name. I wouldn't worry about the Harry Potter connotations, the name also has Shakespearean and mythological connections!

Oh! I do like those ideas! I love the A names so it was unfortunate about the initials. I love Aurelia soooooooo much too! That's pretty. I think I do like Hermione Giselle more than Hermione Fleur! And Fleur Orelia is also really nice! Thanks!! I'm going to add those to my list. My short list has grown rather long again.

Because Hermione is a 4 syllable name I think the mn should be short. I love Hermione; its #1 on my list! Because of Harry Potter (which I LOVE) I feel that one has to be 'safe' when choosing a name for Hermione (which is quite adventurous in itself), so I added some fillers which sound pretty as well.
Hermione Jane (but Jane seems like a filler doesn't it?)
Hermione Kate (i really like this one, but i also like the sibset Hermione and Kate)
Hermione Claire (filler)
Hermione Hope (favorite)
Hermione Sage (... if you liked Hermione Paige)
