She is just Betsy, not short for anything. :)

Thanks. If given the chance, you should absolutely use Linus. We need more Linuses in the world! :)
Of your suggestions, I really like Arlo, Isaac, Beatrix and Cora.
I like a lot of your girl names a lot better in theory than in practice. I actually really do like Persephone and Antigone. But seriously, most people are dumb. They will have no idea how to...
A few of your names are similar to names on my list. And my daughter's name is Betsy. :)
If you like Betsy, I'd suggest Lucy and Bonnie. What about Cora, Wren, Iris or Willow. Astrid makes me...
Personally, I would avoid the same letter like the plague if I were having twins. But I wouldn't roll my eyes at Kostantin and Katerina. They are distinct enough, unlike a Kathy and Katie type set. ...
Abraham, Solomon, and Moses are all on my non-guilty pleasure list. I have a thing for old testament men's names. Abel and Amos are also loves of mine
I wouldn't call this a guilty pleasure, but...
Are there any family members you admire that you'd like to honor? Do you have a favorite flower or place? Or a guilty pleasure name that you aren't brave enough to put in the FN spot? I feel like the...

Milo has been high on out list since the the start! Linus was --thisclose-- to being Milo James. But now we know what seems like a dozen kids named Miles, so I'm not sure if we'd use it now or not. ...

I'd never considered Solomon in the MN spot. I quite like it!! Oscar Solomon = badass.

Thanks!! We loved the name Lucy, and didn't want to use it 'cause we already had Linus. (Too much 'Peanuts' for one house, IMO). And Betsy struck me as a similar sound, and similar retro feel. I...

I appreciate all this input. Very helpful! Thanks, everyone!
I love the Ollie suggestion, but we have two Oliver's in our circle, so I wouldn't use it for that reason. A big bummer because...

Not pregnant with #3 at the moment, just brainstorming names as I tend to do, looking for outside opinions.
1) what do you all think of Ozzy? As just a given name? I think it's kinda fun. Is it...

Ha just catching this 2 years late, but I promise I am not a troll. Real life person with a Linus Matthew and a Betsy Lucille. :)
Roscoe was in our top two boy names if Betsy had been a boy. I love that its getting some use. :)
Little sister Betsy Lucille born Friday. Proud big brother is Linus Matthew. Couldnt be happier.
I posted most often for advice on our boy names, but in the end, she was a girl, and her name a...
Oh I love Malcolm so very much. I wish I could get H on board, because that would be this kiddo's name if I could decide on my own. And Mac is just perfect.

I would suggest my son's name, Linus. ;) He was the son of Apollo, and was Hercules' music teacher. Pretty cool, if you ask me!
Reid was the first thing that came to mind. It's not overly used, but its recognizable and familiar enough that maybe your H would like it?

First, you have good taste. Cormac, Roscoe, Milo, Wallace and Jasper are all names on my long list. Roscoe and Miles/Milo are in our final two for this babe. So thumbs up.
I agree with the other...
I like Crosby quite a bit, too. I call it a dark horse because it really hasn't been in the running for this whole pregnancy, and it kind of coming up from behind recently, if that makes sense. It...
I say loo-shus as well.
We are team green with a LO on the way in about 9 weeks. (DS is Linus Matthew.) We've finally narrowed our list down to about two names for each sex. Boys: Roscoe or Miles/nn Milo, possibly Crosby as...
Graham is one of my favorite names ever. I like it worlds better than Greyson.
I like both of your girl names, with a slight edge for Penelope. I love the nn Nellie, so that gets my vote. Daphne...
