What are your thoughts on giving your child two middle names? Is it fussy? Would it be annoying for him when filling out documents, etc.? I never considered it previously, but we love the name Finn,...
My husband and I are very indecisive about names and could use help whittling down our list a bit. We're definitely using Reid as the middle name since it's my husband's and FIL's middle name. Our...
I have a nephew named Ezra and, to be honest, I kind of disliked it at first. But it's grown on me. Interestingly, they have a Cate, too (but they spell it Kate)! Some friends of ours recently named...
I really like Callum Grey! It does seem to fit well with your other kids' names. But Crew is cool, too. It's more of a tough-guy or cool-guy name to me (in a good way). :-) We also love Beckett, but...
Thanks for all the replies! I realized I like Finn way more than Finlay, so we're now considering using just Finn even though our last name is one syllable. We'd get used to it, right? Hmmm.
Nico is near the top of our list! Love that name. We also like Matteo, Gage, Wilder, Beckett, Lucas, Holden, Cash, Sawyer, Judah, Gideon, Luca (among many, many others - we're very indecisive). Good...
My husband loves the name Finlay (or possibly spelled Finley), but I'm wondering if it's more of a unisex name. We're having a boy and I'd really like something that's clearly masculine. Are people...

Matteo (because a close friend used the same name)
Seven (this is my husband's guilty pleasure name that I have nixed!)

I think of Desmond from the TV show "Lost," but that's not necessarily bad. :-) I like it, actually. I agree that the nickname Des would be cute. I don't think it's odd at all, just not super common.
I love it! I briefly considered it, but then I realized people might mistake it for Autumn. It makes me think of Jane Austen, too. Love her, but with both those feminine connections, I had to cross...
I like it. It's easy to pronounce and feels very masculine to me. We considered it, but other names have risen to the top for us. My only concern was that people would probably misspell it at times...
Joseph - Joash, Joe/Joey, Josiah, Joshua, Japeth, Jacob
Sam - Cam/Cameron, Saul, Emmanuel, Max
A few years ago, a friend of mine named her son Fox and it still sounds a little odd to me (I just think of an animal, not a little boy). But I LOVE River! It has such a cool feel to it and flows so...

You guys are awesome! Thanks for all the feedback. It's funny that so many of you thought Oakley sounds feminine, because that never even occurred to me. Helpful to hear others' perspectives! I still...

I've never heard of anyone named this, and it's not even on the top 1,000 list, so I'm wondering if Oakley would be too out-there. Does it immediately make you think of the sunglasses company? I'm...

Thanks for all the great suggestions! I love Matthias/Mattias too, but one of my best friends just named her son this, too. So many options! Thanks again for the help. Will have to sort through these...

I think Emmett Henry is adorable (and I'm not a Twilight fan, but I'm generally aware of the names - this doesn't ring a bell at all). Rowan Edward flows very nicely together and I like Rowan a lot....
I feel the same way. Boy names are so hard! We have a list of names we like, but none we love.
Jackson (I've seen it spelled Jaxon too, if you like alternate spellings)

We were somewhat shocked to find out we were having a boy this time around. We had 2-3 favorite girl names all set, but we've always had a hard time with boy names. We both love Matteo, but one of my...
