I think that is my struggle. Intuitively I say Fred-rick. So my mind thinks it should be spelled that way. Frederick is like Fre-deh-rick.
Also, I don't like Derick and that stick out to me a lot...

Strangely enough, since it is not really my style, I adore Hawkins nn Hawk.
Not a huge fan of Hawkins Kay, though, Kay seems so feminine to me compared to Hawk. Plus the repeated K jars me a bit....
