Oh my gosh, I am SO glad to be home! I had a great vacation (and it was really nice to see my husband for the weekend on what would otherwise be a 4 week long training trip for him) but by the end I...

I totally understand where you're coming from. I will probably post some photos, but I have friends/family who post EXCESSIVE photos of their children and I just do not want to reach that level, know...

I'm pretty sure that I'm going to go nesting crazy when I get back from vacation! My husband will get home a week after me, and I'll be enlisting his help for the things I can't do, like crouching...
I'm glad this is being addressed! I've been on vacation and it's horrible on my smartphone. Thanks, Pam! :)

@Shauna that totally blows that they can't fit you in until September! Seriously, mental health is kind of (really) important. How do they expect you to sit tight for 2 months? Dumb.
So I arrived...

@Emilia, we have SO many tiny onesies and I'm so worried that we aren't going to wear many because some of them are so small, I wonder how they will fit over a fluffy cloth diaper butt... but at...

Congratulations, jtucker!! :)
I haven't cloth diapered (yet!), but I do plan on it when our little guy gets here in a few months. Like you, I was totally overwhelmed when I first started researching it. However, you can assure...

I prefer the Ciaran spelling, but like others have said, you may be better off with Kieran if you're in the US. When I was younger I used to pronounce it "see-ar-uhn". Oof, haha.
I'm reading American Gods, but I've also just started reading (well, re-reading for me) The Fellowship of the Ring out loud to my baby bump. No shame. ;)
I would definitely be interested in this! I still consider myself a beginner in french, so any aid in learning the grammar would be immensely helpful.
I don't have any personal experience baby wearing (yet!) but I have read a lot about it and have friends who are huge advocates of it. From my minimal knowledge, here is what I can tell you:

@Emilia I love our swaddling blankets! Someone gifted us some aden + anais muslin ones and I am so excited to use them. I kinda want to just cuddle them myself haha. All your name choices sound...

Check and see if where you register does a completion discount, too! Some places will give like 10 or 15% off on items that weren't purchased by the time of the birth.

@Mandi, I listed just about everything on our registry. I learned from doing our wedding registry that you'll be surprised at how much some people are willing to spend on you. I've gotten a few big...

Congratulations, Ashlie!! :)
Yesterday I had my 28 week appointment which meant I had to drink the nasty glucose. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, honestly (I had fruit punch) but it had...

I feel really fortunate that I'll be able to stay home with the baby! Before I left my job, I met a man from Italy who was amazed that I was still working at 5 months pregnant. Apparently in Italy,...

Katie, I didn't feel Jameson until 19 weeks (and very faintly so) and maybe 2 weeks later I was able to say, yes that was definitely a baby. So I wouldn't worry too much, even though I know that's...
I love Duolingo! My husband and I are trying to self-teach ourselves French (although let's be honest - I am trying WAY harder than he is and it was his idea haha) and it's actually a lot more...
Oh, jealous! I loved visiting Portsmouth.
Congratulations! What a gorgeous name you gave her! :)
@solace I lived in a few different towns in southern NH (including Manchester) but most of my 18 years there were spent in Nashua!
