They are close in the fact that they both have a Z sound followed by a hard C sound, but I actually think that makes them complimentary rather than clashing. I also pronounce Isaac more like eye-zik....

Alastair, Alaric and Edmund strike me as the sexiest. :)
Are there any other names that could honor your grandmother? I personally wouldn't use a name that I didn't really like just because it honors someone. But I like Alaric Matthew James/Rhys.
