Personally I would say Jackson is spunky modern American with surname roots and Marina is modern Italian. Nothing at all to do with the other names you listed which are all classic historic vintage...

2) a baby with a japanese first name, and word for a middle (gender: your choice) (e.g. Midori Blaze)
very cool old school name which goes well with your other kids' names. sounds very english to me, no other connotations. nickname perry is super cute too.
