Since other posters have pretty much limited themselves to commenting on your shortlist, I am going to offer a few more names, after I comment on your list.
Ezra--never been a favorite of...

Xander---Jasper's a cool old man name; Xander's a modern nickname....I don't think they work all that well together.
Alistair--probably my favorite from your list. I pronounce it...
I give you a thumbs up. I love Jane as a first name....it's a beautiful, so underused classic. Reverie, I don't want to like....I'm not usually a fan of word names. But there's something about the...

Love your naming style! I think the major dificulty here is finding a name that clicks at least some of your boxes (romantic, distinctive, from mythology, etc.) without overpowering the simple,...
What lovely names you've given your children! I like the idea of continuing with a classic-surname possibly with a nickname combo. Something along the lines of:
Peter Hawthorne (Thorn)

I have to agree that you should eliminate Poppy from your list. Poppy P-**-y does sound cartoonish, and the initials P.P. are rather unfortunate. I have to say that using Phillipa or something...
For me, Nora is a very down to earth name, and Gwyneth is a bit more fanciful. I've never been a fan of Vivian. Perhaps I'm unusual, but I know too many Anneliese's (or her variants)...she's overused...

Marie is a charming, classic name, and it's a nice fit with Nora. If you love it, go for it.
I think those responding to your poll aren't necessarily responding against Marie as much as they are...

Well, Peter is a classic, and you are using a retro 40s, 50s, 60s nickname. Sticking with that style, I'd suggest:
Brynn fits in three naming 'camps' for me.
First, it's an easily pronounced Welsh name. For a sister, what about: Eleri, Fiona, Nesta, Nerys, Rhian, or Carys. And a brother could be: Rhys, Cai,...

First let me say that I think Eden is a very pretty, simple, feminine name. However, when considering it as part of a sibset, it is a bit tricky for me. First, it has very definite connotations--it...

Tad is the way to go, I think. I can also see Taj (ThAddeus James).
Sylvia nn Sylvie, Josephine nn Josie, and Matilda nn Tillie make a charming sibset. All three names are what I think of as very formal, mature, ancient, and almost regal names, but the "ie"...
Kaleb has a "homespun with a twist" vibe to me. Girls names that evoke that idea to my ear:

Unless you go way out to the fringes of name popularity, there will always be someone with the same name combo.
I too prefer Maeve. How about having Maeve as her given name, but using Maeva as a pet name?
Quinne and Cole feel clean and crisp to me. They also feel vaguely Celtic. Like the pp I find myself gravitating, mostly, to more one syllable names.
Girl: Kay, Greer, Raine,...

I think of Miles and Theo as being a little bit serious/nerdy (in a good way) and a little bit jazzy.
I love the previous suggestions of Louisa, Florence/Flora, Justine, Sylvie (though I'd...

Without knowing your last name it's hard to guess what the teasing potential of Soren is. What about Corin, Corvin, Corbin, or Corvus? Some similar sounds there.
Sounds like you like what I think...

I don't assume a birthdate that is associated with any seasonal name. I like both Noelle and Junia.
That said, I'm going to throw my two cents in, with the acknowledgement that anything I say my...
Love your children's names!
With Penelope Layla, you've combined a classic name for the first with Layla, a name I think of as being lush and exotic. Alice is stylistic match for Penelope.

I agree--don't force the 'y'.
For a brother, I'd stick to a slightly unexpected, surname name plus a traditional middle:
For a girl, I'd go for something simple,...
Is there a way to search Nameberry lists (as opposed to user lists) for a particular name? Or, coming at it from a slightly different approach, is there a way to limit the keyword search results of a...
Don't know if that uploaded image will be helpful....too small.

I just got sent to the malware page. I'm using Chrome. It happened as I tried to access the home page. Here's the screenshot.
