Ten of the more unusual names that I love, though probably wouldn't use myself for one reason or another...
Yeah, definitely. I think it'd fit beautifully on a little girl, teen or adult today. The nickname possibility of Rue definitely adds a contemporary flair too.
I've decided recently that most 'out-there' names can indeed work - it's all about the person and how they wear it. There is certainly a point where things do get a bit crazy, however, I think most...
When I started watching that movie the name Carter on a girl bothered me like crazy...but I soon got used to it. Same thing goes for Clarke (a big The 100 fan). The thing is that while such names do...
I like it a lot. While I'm not a big fan of Hugo myself, I do think it a nice name, that works with Quinn really well. Your naming style feels very 'old soul' which I really like - Hugo Quinn fits...
While I love the look of Niamh, I'm not keen on the NEEV sound, and with this original spelling, it would sure as Hell confuse the majority of people (honestly, even though I know the correct...

I voted Kiera as it has the same simplicity, sweetness and modern flair that both Liam and Owen have. The others just don't seem to fit stylistically.
Hypothetically, (today) they'd be Reverie Sunniva & Lalita Freyja 'Lilja'.

Thought of a few more (all on children/teens in NSW/QLD Australia)...
Thanks to you both for the comments. Anyone else out there willing to give me their two cents..?
What do you think of Amaranth? What kind of associations/images/ideas come to mind upon seeing/hearing the name? Do you think it could well work as a first, or is better off in the middle?
I like Isla & Cora or Hazel & Cora best of the options. Cora, especially works so very well with both Ash and Rose. Interested to see what possible middle names you have in mind too.

Just a few off the top of my head (all on kids under 5):
I do somewhat understand how rural/country people can see most nontraditional/even slightly obscure names as odd and can judge a person or family on the choice (people that name their own kids Jack,...
Eva gets my vote. She's such a simple, classy yet sweet little dear.
Pity you feel you can't use Poppy - it's lovely. I'm in the South East and I've met a couple of young Poppy's, neither of which...
I'd automatically think kid and dog because through my whole childhood I had/grew up with a papillon called Roscoe (he was 15 when he died). I can't get away from that association - I cannot imagine...

I've honestly not really seen/noticed Tulsi before, but I liked it as soon as a did. What a sweet little dear she is, and she goes with Soraya beautifully. I say stop overthinking it - just go to the...
I like Adelaide Scout and Violet Carraway as combos and as individual names Sophia, Reverie, Olivia, Adelaide, Audrey and Lark.
I really dislike Jensen - extremely masculine/surname-y and I just...
Isabeau Sofie Athena got my vote as it's the one I like best of the five, however, really, they're all nice names and combos.
I love Isabeau - I enjoy the nonconformity, the contradictory nature of using -beau in place of -belle and giving it to a girl...gives the name a good dash of audacity, grit and spirit in my ...

It's interesting to see that even the most common/popular names cannot hide from butchered misspellings...just goes to show that common or uncommon, no-one escapes it.
Over the years I've been...
I love the sound of beau on a girl, but not so much the spelling of beau. I prefer Bo. I do love Isabeau though, so I think it would be easier to get away with Beau for a girl, were it a nickname for...
Athena would be the obvious one I think. Easy to spell and pronounce just as Freya is, and is more well known and accepted than most mythological goddess names.
My favourite goddess names are...

From your list, I like Flora best. I also quite like Fiammetta.
My personal favourite F name is Freyja. I also like Fern, Fable and Fairuza.

Daphne Susannah certainly has a lovely flow, so she got my vote. She's gorgeous.
