Names with the nickname Ally:
I like Emma Jean too. Have you thought about it making it a double first name, like Emma-Jean (whether...
Victoria is my favorite. Beautiful classic name with a lot of nickname options.

Elizabeth is a beautiful name and works well with Evan. Lizzy and Evan are a great sibset!

They're two different names (not sure how Caroline is a feminine version of Charles anyway). It would be like not being able to use Lisa and Betty for sisters because they're both nicknames for...
I'm not a big fan of Luna on its own because it reminds me of the word lunatic. Maybe as a nickname for something?
My favorite names with your sibset:
Henry, Peter, and Lucy
Henry, Peter, and Ellie
Henry, Peter, and Kate
Henry, Peter, and Claire
Henry, Peter, and Abby
Henry, Peter, and Emily
I'm not a fan, sorry. I prefer the similar Aria.

I prefer the Ellia spelling as it's much more feminine. Ellia Claire is gorgeous! The double L sound doesn't bother me at all.
Love Emmy as a nickname for:
I wouldn't name a boy Emmy.

I agree with the poster who mentioned Marina. I also want to suggest Marianna. I'm not a big fan of just using letters to honor someone because the names are entirely different. I don't find it to be...
I love your daughter's name! Of the choices you listed, I prefer Elizabeth by far. I realize it's popular, but it's a classic, traditional name that will never be trendy or "too popular." To answer...
Eliana Colette is gorgeous!

Again, I don't think naming your a child a name that some think of in an offensive way is the same as naming your child something that some use as a racial slur. There's a big difference, in my...
I know a girl with that name, but she spells it Hela (pronounced Hay-luh). I like the Hela much better.

I think Pippa is cute, but Charlotte isn't really an honor name for Cheryl. I think they're very different names. What is your mom's middle name? What's her maiden name?

Delilah making a comeback and Jemima making a comeback are not the same, in my opinion. The name Jemima still holds racial connotations and not good ones. Some people find the name very offensive. In...
I think Elena Elisabeth is beautiful. Great combo, even if it is a little difficult to say. How often will she be using her full name anyway?
Regan is not pronounced like Reagan. They are two different names. I personally like Regan (and prefer it much more than the more common Teagan).
I would never give her the middle name Blair...

Elizabeth sounds more youthful and vibrant to my ears. I'm not a fan of Alice, sorry.

The syrup came out in 1889. I really don't think it's going to fade over time because it's not just about the syrup. It holds a lot of racial connotations that makes it an absolute no-go for me if...

I agree with that and will add that I'd much rather have a more common name than an unusual one. If someone is concerned about it but wants to go for an unusual name, I think they should balance out...

Agree with this. I'd add Mabel and Edna. None of these look or sound pretty to me.

I grew up with a very unusual name and I hated it. No one ever had my name, I always had to pronounce and spell it for people, I never had things with my name on it because it was never found...
I'd go with Gayle, personally. If you feel like Gayle/Gail is too old-fashioned, maybe name her Abigail and call her Gail as a nickname?
I knew a girl named Gayla once. It was the first and only...
I like Andra too. If you named her Alexandria, you could use Andria (or Andrea). Actually, you could still use Andrea, even without the ia ending. Alternatively, you could use Andi. I had a friend...
