Eve Adalia: Not my style, but I can see how others would like it.

Well, for one, my boys' list is exponentially longer than my girls' list. I just don't like a lot of girls' name, either in general or for use consideration. Plain and simple. Also, My boys' list is...

I am with you on that team, and agree 100% wholeheartedly.

Think back to when you first started to think about and enjoy names. Not just for the purposes of naming your children, but in general. How would you say your tastes have changed? I was thinking...

Is there such a thing as image projection when it comes to names? We are all thinking about and choosing names we like in terms of our personal tastes and values, and I think it's fair to say that...
I find I have a lot more pressure from myself than from anyone else when it comes to thinking about future children's names, just because I want it to be a wise choice and a choice I actually love....

1. MOST currently trendy names with a few exceptions.
2. Any male name used on females for the sake of the ridiculous "all names are unisex" concept.

Thank you all for your feedback. I especially like Zachary Wyatt.
I don't think it's "obnoxious" per se. Maybe a little pretentious, just being honest.
Classic and traditional is never "out-dated," no matter what anyone says. When the day actually comes when that is the concencus, I will be sad. This said, I love John Patrick both on face value and...

Sometimes, I like to think about name combinations in terms of similar letters and letter combinations. They look good to me.

I feel like Zachary is name that exists in a strange realm as of now.
In fact, it is a traditional, English cognate of a Biblical name, but at the same time I feel it is now considered a...
I have recently fallen in love with this Irish name, pronounced "Neev." I would love to add it to my shortlist for serious consideration, but for me, the ease of living with a name socially is a big...
I think it's different things to different people. But to me, it's believing that a name is genuinely bad solely because it is popular, common, or traditional. That may not be your style, but it's...

Samuel Donald and Elizabeth Lila. which are two solid options, anyway.

Donald, Ruth, Felipe, and Erminia. I only ever knew one of them, and only for a short time.
Loved this name before and after the great Robin Williams' passing. A beautiful and underrated, under-appreciated boys' name

None of these names are bad names at all. Popularity doesn't make a name a bad name. Most don't appeal to me, though I would consider Elizabeth or Olivia.
When I was a silly teenager with a very different taste level, I liked names like Tate, Jagger, Kincaid, Thalia, Bianca. I can't say I like those now. I think it's fair to say many people's name...

I don't think anything wrong with doing it, if it's someone that you admire for the good that they do, etc. Two of my favorite choices for middle names are William and Diana because I really admired...
