Thanks everyone for the sweet comments! As for nicknames, her main one so far is Apple, but we sometimes call her Polly :)

I've been quite lucky because my DH loves most of the names that I do, but there are a few names that I would love to use that he's not so wild about, like Cosima, Zinnia, Winter, Luella... As for...

There's a new baby at my daughter's childminder and he's called Keats which I thought was pretty cool. I also saw something in the paper about a school, and it had a picture of about 7 students and...
Hi everyone! It's been a long time since I came on here as I got too busy to check in regularly, but you guys helped us with naming so much!
On the 5th September, we welcomed a baby sister for...

My husband's sister:
Polly is cute! I agree that it's a little nicknamey, though, but it could work as an alone name just like Molly & Milly can.
Apolline is one of our top choices if we have a girl with the nickname...

Aw Congratulations! Arlo, Rory and Nola are all lovely names which 'go' nicely together, I love that they all have O's (Cheerio Crew? So darn cute)
I met an Arlo the other day. I've had a massive love/hate relationship with the name since I first heard it because I was unsure whether it was actually wearable, and now I can't deny that I love it...

It does sound like a publicity stunt. I think even she's smart enough to know that North West takes it a little to far.
Also, I read on facebook that she's sending fake pictures of different...
I too prefer Hespera over Caspera! I dislike the nickname Cassie so that's probably why.
Ooooh, Iolanthe is beautiful! Will ask DH if he likes it.
Me & Hubs went through some baby name websites together today while Senia was sleeping and we found some names that we're going to consider. I'm wondering what y'all think of them!
Hespera - I...

I met my friends new baby the other day (her first) his name is Theodore Benjamin Ross. His middle names are after his grandfathers, and his nickname is Thor (coolest nickname for Theodore or what!?)
I do have a soft spot for most of them!
I met a female Hunter the other day. I don't like it at all for either gender but it didn't work at all on her because she was so girly.
There was also someone at the park calling her little boy...

There was a family in the elevator with my daughter and I today, and the little boy (about 4) was called August and he had twin sisters who I think the mother called Olive & Hazel. Pretty cute, I...
My daughter has one middle name. Would it be a big deal if we gave our next child 2 middle names?
Do you think it matters if one child in a sibset of 4-5 has 2 middle names while the others just...
I've always loved Apollo but I do worry about how it would actually work in real life so I've kept it for my GP list.
It depends how adventurous you are as a namer but if it was me then I would...

mischa - Thanks! We have been having trouble finding boys names that 'match up' to the unusual-ness (is that even a word?) of her name. We find girls names a lot easier, apparently!...

Thanks for the great replies!
shieldsc - It's funny you should say that because Everild & Apolline are my 2 favourites at the moment! I love Salome in the middle, too.

I went through our long list with my DH today and we eliminated some names and also added some. (He suggested some really nice ones which surprised me!)

Okay so we have a list of names that we are definitely considering now. I went through our longer list with my husband and he said which ones he doesn't want to use and he also suggested some nice...
Neither are my style but Reese is growing on me for a girl, so I say Reese.
My friend brought up the subject and she mentioned that they should just used Karma. I laughed at first but I could totally picture them using it.
Kaidence is pretty (better than some names that...
Job Marcellus is such an awesome name, seriously. I'm so happy to see Job being used, my DH doesn't like it so I will never have a chance to use it.
I've never had name regret but after my DD was...
