This is what I was going to say too ^^^.
You can certainly say that you found the name on a registry of Titanic passengers, but it is not technically honoring one. The ideal outcome would be that...

I wouldnt have made the connection with River Phoenix's family at all.
Summer Joy is a bit phrase-y, but I happen to like Joy... so it technically works for me.
If you like Joy so much, why...
I know a little Violet (sister to Olive). I have never once thought "violent" when I say her name. Everyone only thinks of the flowera nd teh color. In fact, Violet seems trendy on name boards, but...

We seriously considered Hadassah at one point ourselves, though we debating just going with Hadassa.
The nickname list we came up with was:
Dassa, Haddy, Ada, Hada, Dasha, Dashi, Asha, Hasha,...
Well, I am a bit unusual that I like double-barrelled names that are totally unique. Our list, when we were making lists to name our first DD, had tons:
I like it.
The only Briar I know is a guy, but I always thought it would be prettier on a girl.
Alice is so charming that it matches well. It's a very "storybook" name.
I think that Briar and...
Similar names: Andra, Drea, Andrina, Malandra, Alondra, Drusa, Anandi, Andela, Andriana,
Names using the letters in Andrew: Arden, Deanna, dawn, Renae, Eden, Danae

Greta and Milena are lovely!
I see no reason why they cannot be a twinset.
As a twin myself, I had tons of issues because my parents gave us matchy names (heidi/holly) and no one could keep us...

Edgar Francis is great! Thanks.
My grandmother was Francesca and it works so well, I cannot believe I never thought of it.
In fact, my grandfather was Mario, so I wonder if Edgar Marius or...

It's not bad, but the movie nerd in me hears Elora Danen from 'Willow' when I say it aloud.
As previous posters suggested Dane, I would have to second it. Dane is much nicer and more interesting....

My sister and I have long loved Bettina (our parents are from Italy). A close friend just named their daughter Elizabeth with the nickname Betty - so I had to take it off our list (I am weird like...

Thanks! I love many of these. Eugenie is lovely (I have Eudora on my list too).
Leonie is the name of a close friend, or I would consider it seriously.
Ophelie I never considered! I like it....

I happen to love both Virtue and Noun names, so I see nothing wrong with these.
With the upsurge of unique naming these days, the stripper-stereotype, as well as the uneducated-parents stereotype...
Simply based on the classiness of the name, as well as the fact that it is strong, grounded, attractive and not trendy.
My first thought was Levi, and Levi Nathaniel would work well.
As for the rest of your list - I like them. I happen to appreciate biblical names, and classy old ones too. I like Joseph the best...

Can I get some feedback on the name Edgar?
I also would like some middle name suggestions (I like bold and brassy middles, but still English or recognizable).
I used to have it...
My DD is Clarisse Bituin, so I love that combo.
For another - today I would go with Eudora Buwan or Camille Reina, not too sure yet.
The middle names are Filipina, as DH is from the...
First, I love Thessaly. It is totally on my list too.
Tallie/Tally is a really cute choice. Nice.
As for middles, I personally think it's pretty versatile so you could go with anything, like:...

Belphoebe seems far more realistic than Vespertine.
Both are inherently pretty and airy, but Belphoebe is far more accessible to the average person. Vespertine also reminds me of Vespers... so it's...
