I've known a handful of boys named Miles, and have always liked the name. It's familiar but not super common, and it just seems like a happy name (maybe cuz I think of Smiles)
What do you think of the name Hutchison, nn Hutch? It's a family name I like to use. The last name is an English profession name, along the lines of Brewer.

I like the name Hamilton, but not with the last name Alexander. It'd sound like you were a big fan of the founding father (which isn't necessarily a bad thing)

My eldest brother was given two middle names- the first names of each grandfather. It was a nice way to ensure each grandfather was included, and the names flow nicely (Edward James). I say go for it!
