Harriet Harper, our 4th baby (3rd girl), arrived at 4:01am on September 27th, all natural, weighing 6 pounds and measuring 20inches long. She is just perfect! <3
Thanks so much to all of the...
You all are great, love the feedback. :)
We will definitely wait to make any changes until she is born, but I still want to have it somewhat figured out, lol. She would be Harriet Harper (for...
Baby #4 is due any day now. She has been Harriet pretty much since we found out she was a girl. Our other top pick was Ottoline though and now I'm questioning our decision. I'm confused and my poor...

I like Mabel a lot as a first name, but I want something a bit more modern/spunky/quirky in the middle since Harriet is very old-fashioned. And Clover is cute! I'll have to try that one with dh, he's...

Any other 2 syllable suggestions?
I like Willow, but not sure of the teasing potential of Harriet Willow, I'm probably over-thinking it... I also like Harriet Lucy, but dh isn't fond of it. And I...

I do like primrose a lot, but it doesn't flow well with our last name. So I am a bit more uncertain about that one.
I like the double H of Harper but I don't like that it is so popular.

We have yet to decide on a middle name for our 3rd daughter due in September, but I do believe we have it narrowed down to a few that we agree on.
Open to suggestions as well, but we...
Eloise Julian (6)
Beatrix London (3.5)
Foster Kingsley (2)
Harriet ______ (due in Sept)
And we have a black miniature schnauzer named Dashiell aka Dash. :)
Love your children's names, what a...
Too off the wall? I don't see how it's any worse than River or Sky or the other more popular nature names.
What do the Nameberries think?!

I love Delilah (as a middle) but my husband is not sold on it. To me Delilah is spunky, yet sweet, it is heard of but not overused. For middles I tend to lean towards more unisex names with a british...
Bumping this up for input from the morning crowd. :)
Dh vetoed everything except for Marley and he is "ok" with Delilah but he doesn't think it flows well. :( He suggested Coraline, which I like but don't love.
I'm not 100% on a spelling of Thisby/Thisbe/Thisbee :) I just want as little pronunciation issues as possible!
I don't like Isabella, too trendy, plus I have a niece named Isabel anyways.
We had settled on a middle name, but I just do not love it and don't feel like it fits with our style/sib-set. So, we are starting from scratch!
My personal thoughts: It has a soft sound to it, I've heard plenty of female names that are much of "masculine" sounding. Not to mention, I had a baby doll names Lissi when I was little and I think...
For a girl? Thoughts, possibly, completely ridiculous? Be honest, yet polite. I'm not obsessing, just contemplating.

I may be a bit biased but I think Eloise is lovely with your girls. :)
What do you think goes best with Dash, ideas?

Here are ones that I like that, There were others as well, but dh has already vetoed some of them. In no particular order:

Loving all of the suggestions! So many great choices.
For those who have asked our kids are: Eloise Julian, Beatrix London, and Foster Kingsley (especially love Kingsley).
I don't want to...

Looking for some fresh ideas for a middle name, we just can't settle on one that we *love*.
I have a thing for 3 syllable girls names, so I will list some of my favorites. :)
For a front-runner Rose name I like Rosamund and all of it's nn potential (Rosie, Ro, Rue) but dh isn't fond of it although he does like Rue. But I still think I prefer Harriet.. I've loved it for a...
mickie9: Thank you!
I'm glad to see that other people think Primrose goes well! We've considered it as a first name but I adore Harriet and I wonder if it will get trendy because of the Hunger...
Cordelia! Love the name and it has more options for nn's.
