Amen to this comment.
I just now noticed that it says we are only to post on this specific forum if we are naming our daughters.
My only daughter didn't get to be born and is in Heaven. Does this mean my...

Love Robin for males, hate it for females.
It is dashing sounding to me.
Personally, I would name him Robert and call him Robin or Robbie.
I would not make a connection between the father...

Alma and Dinah are gorgeous names… What a great husband!
Arabella Diana is nice, but belle is so overused it does not feel fresh to me any more (Araminta Diantha, now I love that one!)
Yes, you are right! I was too conservative (rare for me with names!) in calling Hartwell a dog or cat name only.
Hartwell is old-fashioned and charming, with its nice heart association. Hart is a...
Yes, Lowell is lovely. There is something thoughtful and old-fashioned about the name that I love.
Llewellyn is great too. And nothing is too big a stretch for me as I am not having children! :)
While I cannot stand these names, I don't think they are "terrible". They sound pretentious to me but I never would have thought of Ride Her!
I kind of like Weldon. It is close to Walton and Walden, both of which I already like.
Perplexed. Kit is short for Christopher and bringss to mind Kit Carson.
Jon is a male name.
August is a male name.

I like Trevor.
This seems fairly ridiculous to me. Just choose a girl name you like; parents the country over are doing the same.
Thanks so much -- I knew I was missing some great ones!
I'm actually enough of a name nerd to like all of these as well. Though I do divide them into two stacks -- the for dogs and cats stack and...
I also like Wells, as in HG.
Am increasingly drawn to Well names:
I am probably missing others?
I like the old-fashioned formality of...

Casper Bartholomew is great. Cap is cute, though others will call his Cass probably too.
I do still think of the creepy little white ghost a bit (which dates me, I know!) and I love Bartholomew so...
Amazing names. Love them both equally.
Ada Rosalind Pearl is GORGEOUS! Absolutely smashing combo.
I love the names separately and together.
Ada is spunky and so is Rosalind and Pearl is delicate. All are nostalgic which I love.
Edmund Wilder is gorgeous! I like Alonzo and Almanzo too.
Well, there is always Strawberry.
Me, I'm more of a citrus woman! :) Citron, Tangerine, Clementine, Lemon...
