Which name do you like more for our first baby boy?
Grayson or Oliver?

So I am due in 8 days with my first little boy and I had an epiphany as I was struggling with what name to choose. It occurred to me that what I care about is NOT which name I love the most from my...

I think the name is wonderful, and yes it does sound like it comes from a long line of family but I like that about it. I personally love preppy names and so I do not think you should shy away from a...
Congrats on making your decision... I am jealous as I have yet to make mine.

Edward Louis Shi is a handsome name. I also like Edison Louis Shi even more. The name is not too dated, it is classic and handsome.
Other ideas if you are unsure:
Everett Logan Shi
Honestly? I would consider popularity if it is #4 where you live. Keep the name as a backup if you cannot find another name to love, but I think it should be second choice.

We have the same taste in names as I am looking for something similar.
Definitely use Jameson if you feel so strongly. I would not worry about nicknames since James is actually a more obvious nickname in my opinion, and it does not bother you. Do not be afraid to speak...

These are all very nice names but I prefer to have longer names since my last name is so short. Thanks for the input though!

I personally really like the name Brey, and I do not think it is any less usable than the name Grey. I had zero idea about the donkey "bray" or whatever the couple of people mentioned, so I don't...
I personally love it... but that is just me.

Two weeks until baby is here... and now we are thinking about using the name Everett. We love the nickname possibilities of Rhett or Ever and that it has a preppy vibe overall.
Our question is,...
I think this one is obvious: Choose Everett with the nickname Ever. Both mom and dad should be happy with this option, and then the name is clearly masculine. My vote is for Everett!

Ive never heard of him... But I am from the US. I am guessing it may matter more if you are from the UK since when I googled his name that is where he released music.

I personally LOVE Crew, and always have, but I cannot use it because of my last name. Please use Crew! I would be so jealous. I definitely think Crew sounds more nautical/preppy/nice than the bad boy...
I probably don't have the same opinion as others on this one... kind of. I really like the name Berkeley... BUT on a boy. On a girl, it seems fairly extreme. The name itself actually seems nice and...
