I like Roselda and Gloretha for girls and my most unusual boy name I would use would be Phoenix (not very unusual).

No offense, but I don't like Ransom for a name simply for the meaning of the word. To be ransomed is to be kidnapped and the kidnapper demands money to return the person.

My black cat is named Midnight Onyx Warrior. Onyx is a stone and is also the name of an oreo like cookie in South America

Never heard of it before, but I like it. However, I would recommend using one of the long versions for the legal name and just call her Saffie. Otherwise, people might keep asking, what's Saffie...

January for us :)
TWW for us
No offense, but it makes me think of the cheese. I would wonder about a sib set of Colby and Jack because of the cheese, same with Colby and Bree/Brie (though Bree/Brie and Jack would be fine)....

Corrienna, she was my best friend from preschool until about 4th grade when she was allowed to have a 3 month summer visit with her birth mother (she lived with her aunt who was more of a mother than...

It would depend on who it was. My parents don't care for a couple of my potential names (TTC in Sept) and told me so, explaining their reasoning. I said okay, thank you for the advice but we have...

Roselda (found online looking up Rose variations) and Gloretha (from a book, it's a Civil War era variation of Gloria) for girls and Rowan and Phoenix for boys (again, both found skimming around...
K'Jzhon - a boy's name from the recent birth announcements
We will be TTC for our first this fall but I like looking at names. My top 2 for girls are:
1. Roselda Virginia - NN Rose or Rosie
2. Gloretha Raven - NN Glory
I didn't know that, that's interesting. I do appreciate the information. We live in the United States and I currently doubt that I or any of my children would be able to afford to go to another...
Okay, thanks for the info.
Interesting, but kids will be kids I suppose. Teasing is inevitable no matter what we do. Anyways, I think it's more male than female too but I've also heard it's unisex.
What kind of code do you need to put a picture in your signature? I'd like to use a Wedding Ticker from www.weddingcountdown.com but I can't get any of the 3 types of code (HTML, bbCode, or ezCode)...
Is Phoenix usable for a boy? Possible combination would be Phoenix Jasper, but we aren't exactly sure on the MN (except that it will clearly be masculine). Thoughts?
LOL, thanks. I have not heard of Pre-Seed (looked it up on Amazon) so I'll be sure to get some in August so we're ready in September. :)
1. Rosemary Virginia
2. Gloria Willow
3. Raven Sky
4. Aurora Celeste
5. Avalon Esmerelda
6. Alanna Ivy
7. Scarlet Naiomi
8. Gaia Juliet
9. Genevive Autumn
10. Anastasia Pearl
I have looked at several variations of Rose and this one keeps coming back. I am not expecting, but I like to think of names. Currently I am debating between Roselda and Rosemary, the MN will be...
We are going to start TTC in Sept, DH and I are getting married this fall and we are moving closer to our families this summer (in 3 weeks actually). DH and I have been together since Nov 2006 and...
