thanks for the replies…I am not super fond of the nickname Cindy and would probably call her the full Cynthia myself. But I am having such a hard time thinking of the perfect name - so if DH has ONE...

My husband keeps suggesting the name Cindy for our daughter. It's not really my style, but he is so stuck on it that I am starting to consider it. I am not into nicknames for first names and so would...
My vote is for Helena Pearl! Eloisa sounds too matchy with Elijah and Helena is just a much more refreshing name. I think Pearl sounds great with Helena.

I don't think it's sounds bad…but my initial reaction was that it means "without Natalia". Like how asexual is "without sex'. Definitely something I would get over after hearing it a couple times,...

how are you pronouncing Ottilie? I ask because we are also considering this name.
I think Arrow is a very unique name and though it is not my style I do think it is a very cool, unique and...
They have very different vibes. To me, I associate the name sienna with other names like Sequoia, Savannah - very late 90s. Maybe it's just me and just not my style. And Scout feel very current -...

I voted for Penelope because I just like that name better, but if you're at all concerned about popularity I would go with Arabella. Both are nice.
It sounds weird at first but if I saw it attached to an actual baby/child/person I wouldn't question it. It makes just as much sense as all the names nooshi listed and has a pretty sound.
Sorry, I agree. Everyone will assume you are copying Kim Kardashian. If you really love Kim Kardashian and won't mind constant comments about the name and the Kimyes then go for it.

Thanks for all the feedback. In theory I love Dorothy - it is vintage, surprising but classic. And Dot is adorable. BUT, it is also kind of out of my comfort zone…like, I can't really imagine it...

We just found out we are having another girl! I was sort of hoping for a boy only because we already had a boy name picked and naming is so stressful for me! Our oldest daughters name is Beatrix...

Theodore nn Theo has always been our boys name but I can't shake that it is becoming very trendy. I wish I could just love the name and be decided, but I want something a bit unique and not dated. ...

So many great suggestions. These are my favorite…
Leona (though i worry this is too close to Fiona, a cousin.)

Love Willa (we considered Wilhelmina for Beatrix nn Willa, but not sure if we'd ever use the full name…)
Oona is gorgeous but we actually have a friend considering this name.
Thea is great. If...

Louisa was what we almost named Beatrix - in the end we chose Beatrix Louise so all Lou names are out. :-( I love Amelia but feel it is way to popular for me. Flora is out - we have a earthy last...

I currently have a Beatrix and am expecting baby #2 in June. I love the name Viola but we have a family friend with whom we aren't on great terms with currently and everyone in my family would...

Arthur is great actually. Arthur and Linus are my favorite of all that have been suggested so far I think. Caspian made me look twice in a good way but I'm not sure...
Hank is adorable, but Huck is even better!

I can't get over the throw up reference to Ralph…wish I could.

We would definitely be using the full name Theodore. I'm open to using Teddy instead, but feel like that will more likely turn into Ted when he is an adult which I am not as fond of (but don't...

I love the name Clementine but I have heard it/read it a lot lately so Willa Roaslie is much more refreshing to me! I agree three syllables sounds best.

Just chiming in to say I also love John!
Don't let the girls take it! I hate when girls take over a name - they already have so many great ones to choose from, do they really need Wren too? Take it back!
William is three syllables when i say it…am I saying it wrong? It's a smooth three syllables but definitely three.
I like Arthur William the best followed by Arthur Benjamin
I don't hate Porter at all, but Luca is much nicer in my opinion. To me porter just gets lumped into all the rest of the trendy occupation names…but Porter might be my favorite of them all if that's...
