There are so many families that have juniors and have figured it out. I don't think it will be a problem if your son has the same name but different middle than DH.
My almost 2 year old son's...

I think it's pretty cool. I've heard of Oakley before, but it seemed feminine due to the Annie Oakley association. Oaken doesn't come across as girly at all. Although I think I like the look of Oaken...

I think Eva Joan is a sweet and to the point name. Pretty & classic without seeming overused.
My favorites are:
When I saw Suvi, the first thing I thought was SUV before even reading your comment.
The boys names are nice but don't seem the same style as India.

My favorite is Darla Jean. It sounds so cute and southern. Big plus that both names honor someone.
Georgia Jean is nice too.
My SO had a great great grandma named Adelaide that went by Lydia

Audrey Blair seems to just roll off the tongue. It's a pretty combo and I think it goes well with big sister Stella Reese.
All the combinations are nice so you really can't go wrong. It's not a...

SO and I are about to start the TTC process after a early miscarriage last month. When I was pregnant with my son and this most recent pregnancy I loved the idea of using my mom's maiden name. Add in...
I think Kathy is dated. Every Kathy I know is 40 or older. I don't think enough time has passed for it to be a cute old lady name.

I was going to be Ashlynn. My great grandmothers maiden name was Ash and my mom wanted to honor her. My aunt begged my mom not to name me Ashlynn because it sounded like ashtray. So instead I was...
I'm pretty much a mutt!
Swiss, German, Irish, and English.
My SO is basically 100% French Canadian.
I'm not the type of person to air my dirty laundry on Facebook. Her post wasn't even about me ( I hadn't told anyone I'm pregnant again besides my mother. I'm waiting til Christmas to share it with...
This is very true. We did eventually end our texting on good terms. Even though we live a few miles away from each other- we rarely see each other and never hang out so it will be easy not to...

I love the name Jemima as well but would never use it because of the strong association with the syrup bottle. Although it's going to take people using the name to break the stigma of these types of...
The more I think about it, the more upset I get. I texted my cousin and explained how upset I was that she felt she could claim the name as hers and no one else is allowed to use it. She basically...
When I was pregnant three years ago I talked very openly about naming a daughter my mom's maiden name. The name is Hasley (HAZE-lee). My cousin and I even had a conversation about how we both loved...
What are your thoughts of calling dibs on a family surname? A few years ago I wanted to use my mom's maiden name as a first name if I had a girl (I had a boy). I'm pregnant again but only a few weeks...
I'd say it as Eh-LAY-na
