Our first son's name is Alan Alexander, named after my husband's brother and my brother.
We're due with a second son and I want to name him Christopher after his great-grandfather and Robin after...
I don't care for Annabelle.
When I see Delilah, I immediately hear that radio intro: Deliiiiiiilah.
You know the host? The one with 13 children and sappy love songs?
It looks like you like...
Stella: Well-off, dresses well, probably bratty, girl.
Aurora (Rory): Mom had princess dreams, but daughter was a tomboy and rejected them.
Aurelia (Au-reh-lee-ah because I know there are...

I like Basil Constantine, too, but to keep with your Ms I think Basil Marcel Gregory S. is the only option that's going to get you everything you want with honoring the family's Greek heritage,...
That's my favorite, too! But I saved it from the list when he nixed it. :( I just read out loud one Irene biography after another to show how great it is. LOL! He prefers Iryna, but that...
I love them both.
I know a lot of girls named Elena, but it looks like I'm in a pocket as it is clearly on the increase but still outside the top 100 names. Anastasia is also increasing, but is...
Hey! That's the ticket! Woohoo!
Xenia Corinne (kuh-RIN) (too much with both names starting with the K sound, I think)
Xenia Iris isn't seeming to sit correctly with me and I think I've figured out why. Maybe.
I like Xenia Margaret. I think Xenia Noelle has the right flow, even though I don't like the name. And...
I find it a little too harsh. I love the long regal names, though, so a one-syllable name like Ann and Eve is a real adjustment for me. I never realized how many girls names end in an A and so can't...
OK, so back to the middle name for Xenia drawing board.
I need something classic and recognizable to off-balance the unusualness of Xenia. I'd love more ideas!
Xenia Margaret - like it, but...
I'd use Rowan with a honor name and/or religious name as her middle name.
It's traditionally a male name, but the flower named after the youth has made it into a female name now. I think it fits all your criteria perfectly.

We're crossing Agnes, Beatrice, Sylvia, and Pearl (sniff, sniff) off the list.
These are moving forward!
I think I need to come to terms with the fact that it all have to be one or the other as trying to use them both is sounding pretty forced.
Thank you for the help! It made a big difference.
Another vote for the boys here.
Annabel: Not a favorite as it sounds cutesy to me. I'd use it for a pet name.
Callie: Harsh and appears to be missing some of it's name.
Emilie: I like it.
Juliet: I like it.
Madeline: I love it.

I can't wait to read these off to my husband tonight!
Like most people, we aren't exactly on the same page when it comes to fave names so you are really helping us to meet in the middle and find...
I'm really loving Xenia, but am getting stuck on the middle name(s). I like Genevieve for a middle, but they don't really flow well. I'm thinking maybe another name between them would bridge the gap?...

I love them all! You can't go wrong!
If I had to cross one off the list, it would be Annabel.
My top three picks would be
Catherine Alexandra Grant
Caroline Suzanne Grant

Nathaniel Aurelio sounds great, but you don't have to have a MN by the time he's born.
Congratulations, by the way!!

Landry sounds very masculine.
Gentry, incorporating the word gent, is very masculine. And it comes off like naming a boy Prince or a girl Queen. If you have to say you're a part of the gentry class,...

I'm really loving Xenia Margaret, but it just doesn't flow with our last name.
The wheels are still turning.
How about the -ine names?
Valentina Lux Ameline
Valentina Lux Ambrosine
Valentina Lux Aveline

I love some of these! I'll share with my husband and see what he thinks.
Please keep them coming!
Beatrix Persephone Lark 'Bea'
Clementine Ottilie Maeve 'Minnie'
What's Ottilie? Ottle-Lie? I like the other two names, but that middle ruins it for me.
Valentina Lux Amelia 'Valley' ...
