Here are my personal favorite Hebrew-origin names (some quite popular, some not at all so):
Please please please seek out a professional therapist. This is some serious stuff, and deserves more professional consideration than any of us can give you here on the Forum. As a...
Love the name Oren!

Love the name Mary! Mary Eliza goes so well with Nora Cathleen. One of my personal all-time favorite names is a variant of Mary: Mare.
Both Eve and Eden are two of my favorite names. I voted for Eve, simply because it's used less these days.
My favorite is Musetta/Muse. 2nd choice Jinx. Don't care for Beretta - too many gun associations for me.
I really like nature names for boys as well. Here are some of my favorites:
I've got a very strong Charlotte's Web association as well. What about Willem?

Love the name David!! My cousin's name is David, and he's never been called Dave - only Davey and David.
Hi there! As a Jewish person whose given name actually happens to be Shoshanah, I can say that personally I wouldn't have a problem with a non-Jewish person giving her child my name. Though most...

I vote for Juliet as well. The 'Juliette' spelling seems unnecessarily frilly to me. I love the above poster's suggestion of Lark for a middle name. One of the lines from the play 'Romeo and Juliet'...

My impression is that 'Madison' has been pretty thoroughly co-opted by the girls in the past 15 years. I've only ever heard the name used on females - and lots and lots of females, for that matter.
My favorite would be Cora - but on its own, not as a nickname for Cordelia.
Next would be Camila. Love the suggestion of one of the posters above of Mila as a nickname.
Love it as a nickname for Jeremiah, Jeremy, or James :) .
My first impulse, before I finished reading your entire post and learned that Crew was a family name, was to say that I don't personally care for Crew. Based upon sound alone, its vibe for me is...
I don't personally like Mia as a nickname. I also prefer Noli, Nola, Li, Lia. Mia does sound like a bit of a stretch to me. As one of the posters above also said, Mia seems like a...
My favorite unusual "s" names:

Another vote for Romeo Kristopher. I, too, think Rocco would sound too harsh with a middle name beginning with "K."
Another poster mentioned that she thought that Romeo should only be used with a...

I know an Anders, and no one EVER calls him Andy. It's not unavoidable.
Of the 2 names, Anders is my personal favorite, but Finn is a great name, too.
I think it depends upon how unique a name...
LOVE it! :)
