Neither of your choices, it would be Sah-nuh (rhymes with Donna). If it's spelled Sanne, then it's a very Dutch name and it's quite common and beautiful!

Just wanted to say thank you very much Lucykate219, I really appreciate that. This has absolutely been one of the hardest weeks of my life. But I'm trying hard to focus on the future and knowing it...

Well, so we found out yesterday that we actually lost the baby. So I guess we have a lot more time than we thought.
Thanks everyone, ~ C

@colbi.randon Thanks, I really think it's a beautiful name too. Bonus that it has family significance for us and my hubby is a pilot (so the Amelia Earhart connection too) :) If Amelia is out for...

@laurballs oh i hadn't thought about the sound of the "a", thanks for pointing that out. I think almost no matter what, with any even slightly uncommon name, you're probably going to have people...

My very first real pet ever was a cockatiel who we named Georgio (we got him around 1988 and he is STILL alive btw, i swear he's bionic). Then we had the meanest golden retriever ever named Sam. ...
I absolutely love me some Bea Arthur but Maude gets a big no from me. And I also enjoy a lot of the older generation names. But imo, Maude is just very abrupt and harsh and not at all pretty. ...

Tough call for me between Avalon Lily and Willow Hope but I went with the latter. They are both beautiful!!! Went with Willow I think because of its simplicity over Avalon Lily. But great list!
I'd have to say a solid no as well unfortunately. It just sounds ultra-trendy like the names the pp mentioned. I also agree with daisy451 that it will most definitely sound dated very quickly, like...

Wow, Callum stole the show! We do love that name so I'm happy it's well liked here as well.
But at some point, someone mentioned to me that people might pronounce it wrong - like Call-um, instead...

Thanks for the feedback Kristyn24, I appreciate it! So far we have 4 votes - and it's 2 for each name. Lol! I think I may be leaning toward Joelle right now too... but by tomorrow, who knows.

I like it! I also like Morgan.
Margo strikes me as feminine but strong, which is a great combination imo!

Oooh I *love* buggins suggestion of Pearl Reverie! That is fantastic!!! (and much preferred over Whimsy imho) :)

We have our first name picked out and we are set on it: Amelia. We do know about the rising popularity and all that but in a number of different ways it's the right name for us and it has settled in...
Hi there! You def have some unique picks but I think there are a lot of pretty ones too. So here goes:
Acacia - pretty but nms
Felicity (nn Lissie) - also pretty but - and this may totally date...

@kyemsma, actually that's my maiden name so that will not be the baby's last name. This process would be easier if it was because that's a much simpler name than what we actually have - our last...
I tend to love "boy's names" on girls but for some reason not this one. Just strikes me as *all* boy and not at all feminine. Maybe if you give it with an ultra-feminine, simple middle name (in...

Wow, thanks everyone (who voted and comments)! It's funny because the previous time I posted this list, without the poll, Westley Robert seemed to get the most votes but now it's far and away Callum...

Please vote to help us narrow our list (I have already posted a discussion thread about these but I'm hoping I may get more responses if I post it as a poll, also I've changed it up a little bit). ...

Thanks so much @uniquenamelover and @latergator, I so appreciate everyone's opinions and feedback! I think we may have better luck narrowing the list even further now....(maybe :))! Luckily we have...

I love Everett, think it works perfectly with your other boys' names! NN rhett is super cute. Agree with the pp's that Zander is too close to Zane and also trying way too hard (makes me think of...

Thanks everyone! And a couple of LOL's to Hannah-banana!! Hadn't thought of Kier = Queer or even funnier, Auggie = Breast Augmentation. That's the kind of stuff you need to hear from people cause...

August is a top contender on my list - my BOY'S list that is! It is all boy imo!

Love it! Both Landon and James are on my top 10 list and I think the whole name flows beautifully. And LJ could be a cute nn in my opinion. Fantastic!
Best ~ C
I too tend to love Irish names so I like a few from your list :) My faves would be:
Dylan (tho my fear is that this one is being over-taken by girls)
What do you...
