I have a gorgeous classic name (Josephine), that was pretty much unheard of when I was growing up in the 90's. Teachers and my friend's parents always complimented me, but people my age had never...
I love Oscar, and I much prefer it over Edward.

I have always heard it pronounced with a "z" sound as well.
I don't have trouble with pronunciation with my name, but I do have people always spelling my name Joe, not Jo. Friends and family do...
Congrats Mill!! Awesome news :)

Nope, the closest is my cousin having the middle name Joanne and my name is Josephine. My husband is a Robert though, and all the first born sons in his family are named Robert. So his Dad and his...
I love Lucy! It's by far my favourite Luc name. It's sweet and light, and probably the name that feels the happiest to me. My 12 yr old sister's name is Lucy, and I have also known two other Lucys...

I used to like Jamie (for a girl), Sarah-Jane, and Nancy when I was a tween.
Luckily, those three names were by far the worst names that I have ever liked.

Just my husband. I have shared some names with my siblings and my Mum, and they all dislike at least one of my names, but I don't really care. Them hating it or loving it won't impact my decisions,...

Boys: Pretty much the most common names I hear are biblical names.

AF arrived finally a few days ago, which put my cycle at 43 days. This cycle we are just going to relax a lot more with...

I recognise the name Ozzy Osbourne but I wouldn't be able to tell you anything about him, or what he even is famous for. So I don't think the connection is too strong. I also love Ozzy (prefer Oz...
Mine, absolutely. He was beyond devastated when we didn't get pregnant this first month. He was utterly convinced I was pregnant, and I've never seen him so disappointed when we found out I wasn't....

My favourite is Mabel, I love it!
Nope, definitely don't.
I definitely want to be surprised in the delivery room! I just always imagined finding out that way, and my DH desperately wants to be the person to call out the gender, haha!
I used to only want...

I love the name Walter, it's one of our favourites for a son! And I adore my favourite girl name Matilda with it. They're clunky, strong, names, with a medieval history. Walter and Matilda are...
I can't believe it's almost 2015! I'm currently on the 2014 thread as well, so I'll be moving over here in the new year.
My DH and I have been married since April 2013, and have been trying since...
I have the combo Rory Hezekiah on my long list, and I love it. But I know not many people are into unusual Biblical names.

I had the same issue, I love certain characters but am not a fan of the first names, and the last names were too much for me! So I have the names Austen, Lewis, and Oscar to honour character by Jane...
This. For this reason I find it to be quite a dark sibset, rather than a romantic one.
I don't have kids, but I have a sister who is 2 yrs older, and a brother who is 2 yrs younger, and I think that age gap is perfect! We were all so close growing up, and we are still really close. In...
