This probably sounds really weird but I just read the last few pages of this thread before falling into a slightly feverish sleep (we are a house full of sick people at the moment) and I dreamt that...
I love Cressida! My first thought is Imogen because of the Shakespeare connection. There's something rather bewitching about Imogen.

It must feel so good to have progress! It's a lovely list. The stand outs for me are Esmeralda and Helena (possibility with nn Nellie?). Both are so regal and fit in with your other children's names...

Not pregnant or ttc, just thinking. I'm trying to find names that say free-spirited, carefree and wild (for girls) but not nature names- any ideas? I'm finding it really difficult and I'd love to...

I'm actually asking this on behalf of a pregnant friend of mine- what would you nickname a little girl called Paloma? I thought maybe Lola or Omi? I think it's completely gorgeous and I'm really...
I've been playing around with my lists recently and I'm wondering if you wonderful Berries could help me.*My children are Juniper and Arlo, Juniper being a pretty obvious tree name and Arlo meaning...
Nola June is stunning!
Thanks for the posts guys! I called her Juniper Elise a couple of times today but she got cross with me (she's 2 and a half so gets cross a lot!) and said "I not Elise, I Juniper". Well that told me!...
A few weeks ago, I looked at my daughter and she looked like an Elise, which is her middle name. She does suit her first name (Juniper) but she seems to be growing into more of an Elise. We did...

Congratulations! Stellan James is so handsome and perfect with Juniper and Isabeau!
I spotted Jessamine on the blog today and its really sparked my interest. I think it would be lovely with the nickname Minnie. What is your impression of it? What category would you put it in?

I'm torn with Lemon. On the one hand I do love a quirky middle and Lemon is fresh and zesty and very cute. However, it does have negative associations (being sold a lemon etc) and Nora Lemon sounds...

India Pearl and River Ruby were my first thoughts. I love the pp's suggestion of River Lark- India Nightingale and River Lark maybe.
I love it! Its my favourite name for Susannah but it works on its own too.
Just curious really-how do you instinctively pronounce Helena: Helen-uh or Hel-lay-na? Would it annoy you if you were called Helena and you got called both?
Congratulations! Juniper Elyse is awesome, but I'm a bit biased-my dd is Juniper Elise! :-)

I got my little girl a lovely dolly, but as it turned out she was more interest in the real baby and hardly looked at the doll! I also got her a shirt to wear that says Best Big Sister and all the...
I love Tabitha and Sadie! I also like the suggestion of Nell. How about:
I like Saffron Eliza! How about:
Veda is very cool- I love it! It has the same feel as modern spunky names like Nova, Luna etc but it also feels quite 1940s film noir to me because of the movie Mildred Pierce, and there's the...
Nova Mirabelle Jane is simply stunning! They are 3 of my favourite names and they work so well together.
I really love Bliss- it was on our list for as a nickname a for Beatrice. I think Beck and Bliss sound good together, they're matchy but share a style.
