Not totally sure... I loved Leonora until I realized most people pronounce it without the first o. (leh-nora vs le-ah-nora, I much prefer the three syllable version). Leona is definitely pronounced...

Lincoln nn Link is my favorite. Lincoln Hendrix and Link Hendrix both sound incredible! I'm envious of the cool sounding last name, haha ;)
Clinton Hendrix almost got my vote but it seems...
Simone, love it. Know a girl with the name, she's in high school and totally rocks it. Plus she's growing up and maturing into such a gorgeous woman that it makes me almost laugh how much she's...

I am American, and had a female Australian coworker while living in Dublin who I thought was named Peter for about a week until I saw her name spelled out, Peta. She was putting the r on the end,...
Love it! Knew a Fergus through work in Ireland, he was great. Gus is a fun, down to earth nickname. I'm not so great with middle name combos, is your daughter's middle a family name?
Otto and Rowan!
I never know whether or not I should mention when I have a foster dog with a particular name and love it because I hate for people to think I'm suggesting that the name is a dog...

Which gender would you assign these unisex names?
Kieran- M definitely
Carson- M definitely
I'm mostly a lurker here, and our plans have been changing quite a bit so I'm not really on the ttc2014 schedule any more... However, I'm stopping my hormonal birth control (Depo, it will 'wear off'...
Clunky names like Gertrude (admittedly, I mostly love the nn trudy!) , feminizations like Thomasina....

Right now I'm feeling Cordelia and Sterling. Kinda different styles from each other but hey.
I have an acquaintance whose maiden name is Mabry. She's pregnant and has mentioned her daughter's name will begin with P. I'm kinda bummed she isn't using her maiden as a first name, I think it's...
From the combos I picked lily, but on its own I'd have picked Ella :)
I think it's one of those truly unisex names. I know an older lady with the name so from experience I tie to to a woman, but it's actually on my list as a middle for either.
I really don't think...

Persephone Joy – ‘Pepper ’
I like it, though pepper is a bit of a stretch.
Wilhelmina Courtney - ‘Willa ’
Love love love. Wilhelmina is on my long list/slight gp.... I think my family...
I felt a little twinge of it when I read on here that a (currently pregnant) berry is planning on using a name that's been my solid first choice for a while now... But honestly, I think it's envy...
This or that's are one of my favorite types of thread. Simple, quick choices to make. Most of these are on my list. Thanks!
Fiona or Leona
Caroline or Coraline or Coralie
Audrey or Audra ...
I love these threads! Star in front of my choices...
*Adelaide or Ava (both are pretty!)
Caroline or *Corinne (I like Caroline a lot)
*Eleanor, Elena, or Ella
Emma or *Emmeline (w/nn Emma) ...
My last name is Scottish. The actual 'name' part of it isn't a name I'd use, but I would like to use the Mac part as a nickname.
Mother's maiden sounds like slaving but a vowel change to slevin...
For me the first syllable is hardly spoken, more of an exhale when beginning the name. I knew someone with a little Zeke, pretty cute.

Elizabeth... It's on my list and I LOVE the offbeat unusual nicknames for it but the risk of 'Liz' happening is just, ugh. The 30rock character Liz Lemon is helping it for me, but I just don't like...
I like them both! I think I prefer Violet a bit more than Ivy...
You know.. I just thought, you could pick a totally different first name starting with I and Violet as a middle name and then her...

Penelope nn poppy is adorable, I really like that one (any middle!)
As far as Georgina. First- that's my favorite of the girly George names (definitely!). Secondly, I think you should consider what...
Orlaith is my favorite, I think it sounds gorgeous (reminiscent of names like Nora) but I'd only use the Orla spelling.
Aoife is my other favorite for girls.
I love caoimhe (love!) and was hoping...

Mine aren't that out there, really.
Sterling. I'd actually REALLY consider it if the last name wouldn't be stew@rt, since they're too similar in beginning sounds. I absolutely love Sterling.
