I think it's fine, not weird at all. I think the names go well together, and they are both well-known enough to be stand alone names, not blatantly obvious biblical names. It's not like you're...
I really like Wes on your list.
So suggesting (sorry for repeats)

Does Rusty work as a nn for Robert or Reuben, or are there any other names that you can suggest beside "Russell" (which i'm NOT a fan of)?
Thanks in advance.
What a wonderful thread :) I love this! I'm from Aus, so our autumn is March, April, & May

I think I pronounce Vivian and Vivien with more emphasis on the "Viv" and with kind of an "un" or short "en" sound, but with Vivienne I put a bit more empahsis on the "viv" AND the "Enne" so it comes...
Glad to help with the Mim thing... It's a shame that that pther girl didn't have such a nice time... But I really don't think it's as bad as everyone is making out. I really think it's very usuable....
I'm surprised that so many people have less than positive things to say about this name. I love the it! I went to high school with a girl called Dimity, nn Mim, and she never had any problems with...
What a treasure! Clarine sounds so elegant! Great find! Definitely usable. :)
Lila and Eden is beautiful and strong, and well balanced (a similar feel for both names), but I realllllly love Lila and Sadie. (although Sadie is a bit more sweet and girly than Lila).
I love Willa Eileen, Willa and Benjamin sound lovely together.
Georgia Louise is also a great combo, my sisters name is a very similar "G" name with a very similar "L" mn. They both have a very...

Fair enough... I love Marielle... Marielle Elizabeth? Marielle Eliza? Marielle Beth?
Mariella Elizabeth is quite a mouthful...

I love the sound and the meaning of these M names, and they work really well with the surname, but I am torn between the variations...
My first love was Marvel... but of course,...

I don't think it's a problem, i have named my cat Dexter, but still consider it for a mn to go with a lot of my favourite firsts. Especially if you don't call them "Sam" at the same time.

Looks like you've put a lot of love, time, and thought into your list. You seem very creative/original and magical/fairy-tale-like in your taste, and I can see how your list would be a wealth for...
Hope at least one of these gives you inspiration. Good luck!
Totally agree with everyone else that this is soooo much prettier and completely solves the gender-identity problem of the unisex name. Elliette and Eliette are only slight changes from Elliot, but...
Astoria is beautiful and I don't think that's the first thing that most people would jump to at all. I think the "as" sound is short, and doesn't really sound like "ass" when you say it anyway, it's...
Another vote for Stella.
I think it's beautiful with Naomi. Stella Isabelle,
Also a BIIIIIG vote for Julia, and for Ava. I love BOTH of them :) and if you don't know any other...
Congratulations, and welcome.
Marina is a beautiful name. I think it transcends the nationality barrier and is a lovely name for a baby, a child and an adult. I cant think of any potentially...
I love it! So beautiful. Verreey girly, but not too flowery. I also think Camilla Rosalie, Camille Rosalie, Cambria Rosalie, Cameo Rose or Camellia Rose would flow nicely too.
Thanks for the feedback berries. :) I'm leaning towards trying to use it as a middle name... I think that you are both correct in that the pronounciation thing is a barrier... And thanks for the...
I live Nell and think it works beautifully as a stand alone name, not nicknamey at all.
Also sounds good with a longer surname.
Most of the names on my girl short list are (in my opinion) unusual but not too outrageous. I tend to get more creative with my middle names, but first names are somewhat tame.
This being said,...

Hattie & Sadie sound adorable together, not too similar at all, but alike enough that they sound like they come from the same sort of region/family/dialect. The ie at the end doesn't take away from...
