Thank you so much for the fantastic recommendations! I considered them all closely!
They have names! The meaning of the names had a huge sway with me.
Boy: Soren Fairchild. He will be Ren 99%...

Hope I helped... let us know what you choose![/QUOTE]
I feel honored that you signed up to give me those wonderful suggestions!!! You helped me realize that the character makes the name, not the...

Zender is fantastic! Even though I didn't pick it for my main guy, it wiggled it's way onto a new character. Thanks
Ohhhhh August Dulay is SUCH a romantic name. August is one of my favorites and I think it's so handsome. James is very classic and masculine. Good choice. I really hope you do use this name!

I've been writing this story for almost a year now and it's close to 200 pages long. I've changed the names of two of the characters probably 500 times each (gah!). Nothing seems to really fit, and I...
I actually really like Greer. It reminds me a lot of the name Brier (Br-eye-er). Tess is beautiful, but seems like a nickname to me. Blythe gets my vote.
OH! I LOVE Jem as a nn for James or Jemes. Jem is my favorite right now but I'd never use it as more than a nickname and I'd never use it as a girl's name.

Oh! Those names are lovely! Not too "out there" at all! I especially love Merrick. If you change or don't use your favorite names just to please other people then you're doing it wrong.
YES! My daughter's name is Rosemary. I loved it when I named her and I still love it now. I can absolutely see that name on all ages. I might be a bit biased, but it doesn't seem like an old lady...
@annie85: Thank you! I get a lot of flak from relatives and friends for both of my kids' names actually. Some people are just never happy. But my husband and I both love them. It's so refreshing to...

I first started loving names at 14. The very first name I ever loved was James (a little boy I was babysitting at the time). I still like it ok, but it's too modern and popular for my taste now. If I...
I already have two kids, my girl first and my boy just recently. They were perfectly spaced apart (almost exactly three years apart) and I think in another two years I'd like a third. If my husband...
Does Reinette really not have a definition? It says it's a form of two other names, but I'd think it'd be separate enough. It's definitely an old enough name.

I don't think Beyonce's daughter's name will be in the spotlight for very long. I don't see a problem with using the name Ivy for her daughter. Beyonce doesn't have a claim on it. And Ivy is only...
Personally, I'm so happy you like Rosie and are starting to like Rose! I felt like I was the only one! My daughter's name is Rosemary, but there are other Rose variations: Rosen, Rosemarie, Roselyn,...

Doctor Who. There's a Rose (my daughter's name), River (my current obsession), Melody, Zoe, Beatrix, Leela, Romana, Adric, Nyssa, Trinity, Tegan, Astrid, and Adelaide. Pretty good to me.
Aine is one of those names that has a very obvious Irish origin. Sometimes a name like that will seem out of place on a child/adult that doesn't have any Irish blood. (But your son's name is Callum....
Top 6 for both genders
Girls: Flora, Rosemary, Agnes, Reinette, Alice, Juniper,
Boys: Harlem, Blair, Stefan, Peter, Apollo, Milo,
But I love so many I can't possibly write them all down!
I feel like Blair is the ultimate unisex name. To me, it's very feminine and sweet. Kind of like Claire. Pink, lace, sparkles and such. But on the other hand, it's also very masculine, in a suave and...

Books influence my naming choices a lot. Even both of my kids have names slightly after book characters, and it's no different for my pets.
Desdemona Lioncourt- She's my oldest cat. Desdemona...
I love Japanese names. I'm a big fan of Rin personally.

I've never met anyone with the name Desdemonda and I didn't know it was a name, but I know of the name Desdemona. She was the main female character from the Shakespeare play Othello. Is that what you...

Milo Finnick Alexander was born on October 19th at 4:33pm! 5 lbs. 2 oz. and a full head of pitch black hair (which is odd because my husband and I are both blond and our daughter is a red-head haha)....
