Aoife is a lovely name, I love the spelling too. Niamh is lovely but I've been hearing it a lot lately so it's charm is waning slightly for me.
My favourite Irish name at the moment is Aisling.
I actually did change my name, or at least the spelling, from Amy to Aimee.
If I was to change it completely though, I'd quite fancy being Alexis or Alexandra.
