My name is Kimberly and I LOVE it! However, the one thing I hate is how people just assume (after I introduce myself as Kimberly) that's it's OK to call me Kim (which I totally HATE). I do often...
I don't have any pets right now, but I've had a Dalmatian named Domino (and if I ever get another one, his name will be Checkers) and a parakeet named Samantha. I co-worker has a little bitty dog...

I have a friend named Sheridan...she's 15. I've only heard the name one other time and it was an adult (who I think young Sheridan was named after)
I think it's a beautiful name...and NOT cheesy at all. I have a cousin named Gracelyn Noelle, who was born in December (she's about 10, I think).

Halston (I don't have a middle name for this one yet)
Hadley Claire is nice, but I really like the suggestion of Hadley Grace!
I love the name Callahan, but I like it as a middle name. Even though I don't have any kids, Houston Callahan has been my top boy name for a long, long time..
I have a step cousin in law (or something like that...she's my first cousins step daughter) who has a daughter named Blake Riley. I think she's 3.
Hilary Paige is my absolute favorite girls name, though I prefer with two L's. Though of some of the other suggestions, I also like Mallory, Bethany, Kelly, Carly and Hannah. And I think Paige is...
When I saw your list, Wilder Blue came to mind.
My cousins granddaughter: Alexa Marie born February 2013
I was just watching a "Forensic Files" episode and one of the men interviewed was named Bridger. I kinda like it...
I also have a friend (her 80's) whose has a brother whose middle name Badgett...
My favorites are:
Lindsey Katherine (though I prefer Catherine)
Richard Michael and Stephen Michael (my uncles...S died either right before or right after birth in 1947)
Kelli Jo and Christopher Jay (late 30's early 40's)
Christy and Jana (late...
My favorite boy name is Houston Callahan...no specific reason other than I just like the way it flows.
A friend of mine is in the process of adopting a baby whose given name was Solomon (unknown middle name) Hunt. Once all is a said and done his name will be Solomon Hunter (with new last name).
I don't blame the poster for being defensive. He was simply asking for suggestions for name for him unborn baby, that, if I'm not mistaken, he said was a surprise. I think it's admirable for them to...
A family friend has two granddaughters named Kayleigh and Rayleigh...they are cousins NOT twins. They are fairly close in age. If it doesn't bother the perspective parents, then I say "go for it"
I do not have any children, I am not pregnant nor do I plan to be anytime soon. I'm simply curious about something I see alot throughout many of posts...the use of or desire to use nicknames. I am...

What a neat post idea!!!
I was born in 1970, so my 'kid' names are (to me anyway) kinda dated: I remember thinking Nancy, Leslie and Maureen were just beautiful. I don't remember any boy names,...
I agree...Ellie can be used just as is, but if your set on using it as a nickname, I like the suggestion of Ellison. (and, for what it's worth, I really like Samantha from your husbands list! :D )
If you prefer the pronunciation RISE, I personally think that's how it should be spelled. Changing the pronunciation of a recognizable name, is, in my opinion asking for a lifetime of having to...
While it's not my style, I do think it sounds classy and strong. May I suggest Josephine Camille?
