For the pronunciation you want, I would go with Mira.
I think of them as being two completely separate names and pronunciations, Mira prn. meer-ah, Myra prn. My-rah.
Muh-rin is Marin, like Marin County in CA. I really like this to honor a Mary (or variant).
Orson (My favorite for over 10 years, I LOVE it.)

In general I don't put too much stock into 'sibsets'. I was on the losing side of the battle that was naming my son, and his future sibling's names won't match. My parents apparently agreed, we're...
I know several little Finns, but I think it depends a lot on your area. If you haven't met one yet than you're probably fine.

My son and I both have two mns and have never had a problem.
Ezra makes perfect sense to me, all the letters are there. If not Ezra than maybe Ri?

I think you could use Bea for just about any name beginning with B.
Barrett is one of my favorites, I like it for either gender. Rhett and Bear would be great boy nn options, and I like Etta for...
Forrest ... First name or Middle name
I think either works to honor Mary Ann or Marie. I pronounce them differently, Maren as mare-in and Marin more as muh-rin, and prefer Marin.
Katharine is my favorite. Of your two, I definitely prefer Katherine, it feels stronger.

Congratulations on your daughter. My guy was a 26 weeker himself, and while the NICU can be terrifying, it's also a completely life changing and amazing place. Your family is in my thoughts.
I love Dorothea! It's actually one of my cat's names, and I get tons of compliments on it. I think it's definitely ready for a comeback.

We met a boy on the playground named Omen...I've never been able to forgive the poor boy's parents for it.

I have been in two long-term relationships. My son came from the first, so we clearly talked about names. We have VERY different taste, had I had my way Kaleb would be Desmond. It still drives me...
My son has a boy named Tennessee in his first grade class, he's a fiery little redhead and the name totally fits him. When I first met the family I thought of the writer before the state. I think it...
Another Arrested Development fan here, love Maeby! Elliott is my favorite of what you have listed. What about...

I like a lot of unisex names but not any of the ones your husband has mentioned, sorry! They all feel a bit dated to me. What about:
I vote for Miriam!
