If I heard "lie-lah" I would imagine it was spelled Lila.
How funny, I was just talking about this with my friend yesterday. I'm an INFP and DH tested as INTJ but I guessed he was an ISTJ and still think that description matches him better, he agreed.

A friend posted this on facebook and I had to share it with ya'll, a great visual of the #1 girls name by state as it progresses through time from 1963 til now. I've already watched it a couple...

I really can't decide on Evangeline Ruth/Ruth Evangeline, they both sound equally good. Anna Genevieve has a better flow as well as Rosamund Elise.
Francesca and Vivienne are a perfect fit, they both have a European flair and elegance, the other names on the list just don't have IMO. I also love the option of nn Frankie, so cute.
The spelling Zoe Annabelle looks more classy to me. the "y" in Zoey makes it feel too trendy and feel more nick-namey.
Thanks for the feedback so far Berries!
I know a couple PPs mentioned using the names as firsts instead of middles, but Maria is non-negotiable since its the name of my late grandmother who was...
Juliette. It just looks less harsh and more dainty.
Adaline is very stylish, not to old in the least, it's charming.
So if we have a girl (we are finding out at birth), she will be either:
Maria Evelina Grace
Maria Julietta Grace
I like Evelina and DH prefers Julietta. There are a couple reasons why this...

All this seems to suggest is an English-speakers view on masculine and feminine sounds based on cultural preference not biology. I don't see how they can make any sort of claim, "how biological...

@cvdutch31 - As a first timer myself, I know it is a hard adjustment to start gaining weight, especially if you're not used to it, but at least we have an excuse right? ;-) And I hope you don't feel...

Just found this thread, I'm so glad to finally be on my way to being a mama. I'm 15 weeks and due late/Nov-early Dec. (Not a due date person since babies come on their own time anyway:-)

When I did Day 3 testing, they said day 3-5 was okay.

@cvdutch31 & uselesskitty- I'm in the bandwagon with you. I miscarried our first last summer and have been very hesitant to have excited feeling about being pregnant. I'm 9w1d and will be having an...
Rollo, just read your post, I'm a little late but I'll be thinking of you and praying for a quick and an as-painless-as-possible recovery. So glad it was benign!
Question, how would you pronounce Eva in Dutch? Would it be EE-va, AYE-va, or EH-va?
April 14th, 2013, 02:58 AM
My first instinct is to pronounce it Kirsten= kEAR-sten/kEER-sten as in "ear" but I've also heard kURst-ten. I'm from the US.
1. Claire or Pearl
2. Gavin or James
Tintri, I've been dealing with this exact same stuff. It's like every month is a roller coaster and it had been getting worse and worse every month. Finally last month I had resolved to seek...

Lets, see, when I was a teenager, I wanted to be married by 21 or 22 like my parents. Got married at 26. Later than planned but better late than never. When we started TTC after I turned 28, I was...

I hear ya sista, I hate cooking. When I'm hungry I don't want to have to wait all the time it takes to cook something, plus it's not fun. If I'm hungry I want to be able to eat something healthy...
