From 1 to 100:
I wonder what it is about Mars that appeals? Is it the meaning? If you're looking for a warrior name, there's Ajax, Evander, Viggo, Orion.
Or if it is the ends with s sound, Briggs comes to...
Love the Peter/Felix combination!

greysongang, I *love* your solution. I know a handful of couples who did something similar and it just seems so lovely and logical.
My husband thought it was pure madness.
Another idea I...
Hi jnoysie - congrats on #4! Are Griffin and Harley still options? I see them in your name list. I love Elliot and Griffin together, and Griffin Nathaniel is a great combination.
Great lists - I'd add Rex and Link for boys and Sloane, Bess, and Kate for girls. Jack and Kate have always felt like a timeless sibset to me.
I truly love both names, and August and Cordelia have been on my shortlists over the years.
My preference is August over Augustus and Cordelia over Delia, but those are just my tastes. I don't...

LOVE these lists! I'm using my kiddos real names for DS1 and DD1, too ...
DD1: Claire Caroline Wren - Clio
DD2: Rosemary Linden - Romy
DD3: Theodora Swan - Thora
DD4: Josephine Isabeau -...

I love Isobel, but Isabelle makes me yawn.
Catharine is my favorite form of that name ...
And yes, Elisabeth over Elizabeth!
I might be the only one, but I love Skandar. It might be confused with Xander, but then, they share roots.
Drake and Skandar ... they just look like brothers to me.
My hesitation on Caedmon is...
I like Bravery, though I do think it is a lot to live up to. I'm less certain about Braverie. Visually, the spelling appeals to me, but it is a double whammy. Unusual noun names usually have the...

I think this is an important question.
Blade's comments are dead on ... I often follow links like the FB one, and I read the names with fascination, sometimes pages of them. But if I can't find...
Why not? I recognized her, and I'm sure others might, too. Even if they don't, there's as easy explanation. If boys can be named Orlando, why can't girls be Bradamante? She's lush and literary...
They'd be totally wearable in my 'hood. We're in Metro DC, and kids have all sorts of names. Do they work together? I'm less sure about that. Knox and Cash sound like brothers, but Alton feels...

I voted for Constance. Love Constance, love the nn Kit. And clunky? No! She's graceful. Especially if you're not using the nn Connie which is, if not clunky, then definitely dated.

Okay, so I'm going to bypass most Old Testament names, on the theory that if one of them worked, they would have already found it. But there are tons of classic names that feel compatible with...

I had a very common given name, but my maiden name was bizarre. It was a Polish name respelled to make it easier in English. It didn't simplify the name nearly enough, and the upshot is that even...
I think Cash and Bode are great together. In general, I like Bodhi, but with Cash, I'd stick with Bode. It looks right to my eye.
For girls, how 'bout Sloane, Kai, Caia, Wren, Juno, or Scout?
