Current new puppy is a mix and goes by Louis, but full name Louis de Point du Lac because I love Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles. He came named Louie, but I changed the spelling. SO and future MIL...

A lot of these I like, or are expected, or are at least actually names.
For the boys, so many made up names/bad spellings. I don't even know how to pronounce some of them. And these k names,...

Greer - Blair
Georgia - Virginia
Blair - Blaine
Magnolia - Scarlett
Darcy - Macy
Sloane - Spencer
Savannah - Indiana
Scarlett - Serafina
Artemis - Alethia
Minerva - Ginevra
Jude Evander - I've always had a fondness for Jude, and I've been crushing on Evander lately, so this one definitely works for me. I like how Jude is a bit soft, but Evander a bit hard. ...

I give names to pretty much anything I feel like naming. Plants, electronics (my computer is Dora, iPod Pippa, kindle Louisa May, etc), cars (currently driving Loralai aka The Green Apple). Hi, my...

Sabrina Wren. Flows much better, and Wren seems like it will age better than trendy Ashlyn.

I wouldn't name two sons who happened to be twins any differently than two sons born years apart. My top two boys names are:
Theodore David Henry "Teddy"
Elijah Laurence Rhys "Eli"

#1 is my most annoying, after that, no particular order
3. Blair (it is just so blah)
4. Clementine (cue the berry backlash, but I really do not see the appeal in this...
I much prefer Xander to Zander. It just looks more appealing.
I do like Ryder as well. But of the two I would go with Xander.
I only voted for Sybil - the only one up there on my list.
The other S names on my girls list are:

I would spell it Lila.

Kellan and Katherine are literally the only K names on my loooooong list. I don't mind some others, but those are the only two I'd consider using.

I think I like it best as a nickname for Margaret, but if I had to pick a spelling... I like Margot a lot, which may not be the general consensus.

Stella Madeleine is definitely the best of the list. It just flows nicely and they two names complement one another.

From your list I like Carson (which I've never heard on a girl and generally associate with the butler on Downton Abbey, so I think it is fantastic) and Alec best. They are both familiar without...
Agreed. It definitely works on a boy, but it isn't for me either way. It just is a bit blah sounding, IMO.
Not a huge fan of the Aiden/Brayden/Jayden/Hayden names to begin with, so I would say no on Aden for a girl. They are WAY over done in my neck of the woods. I second the Eden suggestion, and Arden...

I'm 26, working in higher ed, currently in a serious relationship (planning on a wedding in the next couple years). We definitely want kids (like 3-5 of them) but will wait until we're married/more...

I suppose it could work, but, to me, it looks really unattractive. But then, I'm not a fan of Lewis either. And I pronounce Louis lou-ee.
Also, I could see Lewisa being pronounced incorrectly....

Well, I'm my mom's oldest. They had decided on Andrea Devon early, but my dad heard the song "Hollyann" by Boston and loved it. My mom still wanted Andrea, but did say if they picked Hollyann I...

My mother is the second of 6 to parents Marilyn Catherine and Edward Kenneth:
Marilyn Catherine (mother to Erik Rene, Stefanie Ellen)
Dorothy Ann (mom!) (mother to Hollyann Beth, Marissa Jayne,...
Congrats and good luck!
I definitely prefer Soren Pasha. I love both names, and they work very well together. Very handsome :)
I know they've probably been talked about before (and I know Taylor's wife Natalie even did a post on the blog), but I have been swooning over the Hanson children all week and just need to share the...
I like it. It is definitely a cowboy name, which is cool. And it reminds me of Piper and Leo's oldest son on Charmed, which I obsessively watched as a teen, lol.
I apologize if you feel like you were talked down to in anyway, but that was certainly not my intention. I just think it is best to be aware of the connotations of a name you are thinking of using. ...
