Ive been considering both names. What do you think? People in the baby name community dont really think of those names that often (as opposed to something like Violet or Adeline) so Im curious as to...
Maybe because Skeeter IS a Muppet name. That's where I heard it from.

I voted for all of them. Sorry that it's not narrowing it down in the slightest, but they're all great names!
I like names that are just a bit on the uncommon side, so people who know me shouldn't be surprised haha.
I'm torn between Skeeter and Rivka for a girl (though I don't think I need to explain that...
No, Patrick won't get shortened to Pat nowadays. Aiden and Emma sound fine together. I even think the "-ah" names sound okay with Emma.

And some names that may have been popular on preteens/teens are not commonly found on young children, even though stats say otherwise. Do you get where I'm coming from? That may not have made sense.

Yeah, except you're more likely to meet an infant with a 300's trending name than with a dated top 100 name. But maybe we are both right in our cases: maybe it's just a regional thing.

We've established that it takes considerably longer for a boy name to become dated than a girl name. However, there are two "timeless" names that I can see, some generations in the future, fading out...

I didn't mean to be so harsh. :c I understand she was trying to help but I specified some names on the unusable list, and then she went and suggested them even though I said not to.

Really?! Did you read the "SUPER IMPORTANT NOTE"? Laura and Catherine are unusable.

I know that I'm replying a lot and that this might sound picky, but I am not a fan of Julia, Caroline, or Eve. I just wanted to let you know because I'm getting these suggestions a lot.

I love Rachel and Diana! The others aren't super fantastic, but they're fine suggestions.

It's a family requirement that names be classic, familiar, timeless, and "not goofy" as my dad would say. The middle names could be anything. I am not fond of shortened names, but the ones with...

I like it and have been considering it, but it has a rather stodgy old-fashioned image. Still, old names are in style and becoming popular, even the out-there ones. But that's mostly just...
Amelia, Amelie, or Emmeline? (bear with me - it's believed to be the Norman French variant of Ameline)

Yes I'm 12. I'm in seventh grade. I don't know why people are so creeped out; it's just a story. Besides, I wasn't asking opinions on it. I just wanted a name.
I don't usually do two middle names, but after returning to my name list from winter break, some combos on my list just had to go. Having always loved Camden and being fond of Matthias and Stellan, I...

Harry? It's already popular in Britain, and names becoming popular over there tend to become popular here too. (Millie, Imogen, etc. are on the rise)
It's a classic name that's familiar and not...
I usually come here, not the SSA, for name ranking info, but the popularity graph for Vivian didn't seem right. (Has anyone else noticed that?) I went on the SSA today, and my suspicions were...
What do you think about that combo? I don't want Tammy as a nickname, just like Penelope fans typically aren't fans of the nickname Penny. I also don't care about the fact that the "-a" at the end of...

Anya or Cecily? (Last name is Lollader)
It's for an erotica story. I chose from a list of names that I thought would suit her. Now I'm absolutely torn between these two. Could someone help? (No...
I just love the name Luther. It's handsome and dignified, and familiar but not common. Plus, it fits it perfectly with all the other popular -er boy names.
Not because I'm naming a baby. I occasionally write erotica stories so it would be helpful to me. Also because I'm interested in hearing the names that people consider hot.
