Thanks! I really like Victoria, Aubry, Blake, Cole, Trace, Damon, Cory, and Dominic. This is exactly the style I'm looking for!
So far I like Neal, Hugh, and Rebecca; I'm also putting Caroline on the shortlist.
For this story in particular, I'm more into vintage/dark/ugly names. Obviously these are very subjective, but I'm...
@aj_bear, the setting is modern America. I never really go into the exact time frame. Technologically, things are advanced about as far as the late eighties / early nineties. An exact year hasn't yet...
Unfortunately, I don't have particular descriptions at the moment. I'm looking for ideas, general names I can stick on semi-faceless bullies.
Group One: Preppy, stuck-up, jock types. Have been...

You can get away with the girl sharing a room with the boys until she hits puberty, which you may or may not mean when you say 'in a few years.' I'm not sure which of these kids is the girl. I shared...

Core-inn would be Corrin, for me. Core-een is Corine/Corrine
Corinne I wouldn't even try to guess.
@saracita00, it most certainly is! I must ask, where did you find those?
@mrstoon, I'm not a fan of Brad either. Bradbury gives it a nice flow and softness. For a nn he'd probably be Addie, or Ray...
Hm. I suppose that makes sense. I don't know how old you are, but to pull off the situation, 4 would have to be raging crazy, or you'd have to be a very talented writer; otherwise it'll make very...
Prudence Bellamy fits her. She could go by Penny and people could call her Prude behind her back...
Jesse fits 2 well, and works with Max.
Lame is more fun. If you're willing to use lame, you can get away with it.

Nevermind, didn't look at date. Good morning world, next time I'll drink coffee before joining the internet...
Well, if you've BEEN there and ADORE the place, then maybe. But if you like it enough to use it as a name then you might as well just go live there. This is my general opinion on all place names.
Holy names, batman!
Donaghy (thought of Donahugh from this one)
o_o I can't decide either. With a last name like Wilhelm, you can't really go wrong though.
I like Hodge better, but Viggo Wilhelm... is just... yes.
Haha sounds good, thanks for a good discussion. :)
Carly, Ceil, Ceslia... Carly doesn't even make sense.
I'd have no problem using these names on boys. A few more I like:
That is HILARIOUS. Oh my god, I'm dying...
I like Boden, Nash, and Endre from your list. All very cool names that seem to fit your style/rules and go well with your daughter's name.
So more like.. veh-ee? haha I'm not mad, I just want to figure it out because the name LOOKS awesome. When I'm saying it it's coming out as Zehn-oh-veh-ih... which might be correct because of my...
What do you think of this? Too dated/old person name? I used to dislike it, but the more I think about it the more I like it. I think it's due for a comeback, and the nn Robbie is ADORABLE as far as...
As long as you don't mind the Beauty and the Beast association, which you clearly don't, I think it's beautiful.
At the moment, I'm taking the original story, and replacing all the angst with sarcasm. It's creating some interesting plot twists, let me tell you. So the more sarcastic/ironic, the better. :D
haha I don't get out enough to have other things to get pissed off about, really -- I'm thinking that this is more where we differ than anything else. I like Nameberry for the break, but also for the...
