It would be ehv-uh-LEEN like Evelyn only with the long "E" at the end. I have seen it spelled Evelien, I think both spellings are nice. I prefer the E at the end, but it would be more likely misread,...

Thanks for the thoughts on spelling, I think you guys are right. Now that you point out the EEVE-leen pronunciation I can't not see it lol
When I first read it, it reminded me of the thestrals from Harry potter (flying black horses that are only visible if you have seen someone die) its not a bad association, just what came to my mind....

No I don't think Henry is too trendy, but to me popular and trendy are different things.
