Fitzgerald is growing on me, more because of my love for the Kennedys and the association to JFK. Therefore John Fitzgerald always comes to mind. Maybe something like Aldous for a 1st?
Being Danish, I would say "Fre-the-rik" or in daily speech just "freth-rick". A handsome and lovely name either way :-)
That sounds wonderful, and you know, it always seems to depend on the kid, but I do find Cobie a name full of spunk! :-)

I didn't think of that, thanks! You're very right about that.

I'm not a huge fan, but I am a fan. I like Aragorn as a name as well, but I love the sound of Elessar.
Thank you! Scout for a girl is so cute too! I like it :-)
I had no idea? That's fun to hear about the names in other countries. I know the feeling, I have that with names like Ruth.

That sounds great! Thanks! I'm finding it hard to find any other names that go with it? It has to have some sort of ring to it.
I think Jorah has pretty sounds as well. I don't think it sounds made up, not compared to a lot of GoT names. A nice name. Not something I'd consider myself. But otherwise a pretty good name, if you...

In my defense, it is as a middle name, but here it is: Alexander Elessar.
In terms of pronunciation I'd go with either El-ess-ar or El-ess-ar.
Elessar being the keyword here, is it too weird?...

Poll: Crushing on Cobie
I've taken a liking to Cobie for a girl.
Like the actress Cobie Smulders, who's real name is Jacoba, but the short is much more appealing to me.
Let me know your thoughts! :D

I love the sound of it and association with the family and JFK. I hate the medical meaning though, but I hope that, maybe, I'll be bold enough to use it.

What are your favourite character names, boys & girls names?
Any name that somehow has a fictional reference. I'd love to hear your opinion on guilty pleasure names, if they are useable or not.

I really like Charleston as a middlename. Venezia is really pretty for a girl too I think. I kind of like Tallahassee too, kind of quirky, but special. Savannah is a classic to me, pretty though....

I do have a little thing for Fitzgerald, but I don't think I'm bold enough for it ;-) I hadn't thought about the Scottish version of John! Wow, thanks for that :-)
Anybody got any thoughts to share? :)

I do get the "helmet head" meaning of it. And I'm not a fan of it and the medical meaning. I just really like the presidential reference of it. Thanks for you thoughts :-)

I've taken such a liking to Haymitch recently. I know it's similar to Hamish but I just like Haymitch more.
