Daphne has the same meaning as Laura
curious why you prefer Susanna over Susannah. given how traditional your other names are I think keeping the "h" would make sense -- not my choice to make though!

thought of a few more:
And while I do love Kate with Laura, Kate is just so incredibly overused right now -- if you mind (some people don't)

I have a 4 year old named Laura. We are not having another, but if we had, here are some girl names I would have used:
why not Caroline as the first name? I think that is the perfect match for Claire and Katherine.
BTW, I agree, I don't understand the Lucy thing at all.
oh, and Caroline would be perfect. Claire and Caroline are my top choices, followed by Sarah and Anna
Claire (I like this the best because it does NOT have an "a" ending, in order to avoid being too matchy match)

Long before nameberry.com or even the internet existed, and back when "unique" names were decidedly uncool, I used the book "Beyond Jennifer and Jason" to pick a new middle name (Catherine) for...

Poll: bumping up
Hi, my 4 year old's name is Laura, so I had to vote for that, though I do also love Mirabel. I have come to have mixed feelings about Laura, mainly because some people (unfairly, I think), view is...

Katherine. A legitimate K name and think how pleasantly surprised everybody would have been.

I think Kim and Kanye can do better than Nori as a nickname, which is not that much better that North! I came up with several good alternatives:
Nora/Norah (this is my favorite)

I came up with some other nicknames that I prefer to Nori:
Noey/Noe (like Chloe or Zoe. They is actually a Noe Valley in San Francisco, so this is not completely made up)
Yay! It a somewhat dubious distinction, but I'll take it! Sincerely, Sarah, mom to Laura, 4 years old :)

Oh gosh, I am so sorry. North is a good name for a boy, and for somebody whose last name is not another of the 4 geographic directions! My advice to you is to try not to read all of the online...

TMZ is almost always right (they pay people off to get the info). If they are, I think that unique celebrity names have officially jumped the shark. I actually predict that "original" names will...
hmm, Laura is in the lead? That is a pleasant surprise :) I did not expect it to even be close.
I voted for Laura because it is my 4 year old's name. However, I am quite sure Jane will win.
I voted other because I prefer Rosa on its own, or Rose.

". I think this is my issue, these are the types of names that we like but they feel popular to me. I realize they aren't necessarily popular among this generation but they were among mine. I think...
