I just wanted to pop on here and announce the birth of Tyne William...
I have NO idea who these people are - but I hate Hero as a name.
It surprises me that Holly Madison's Rainbow gets a more frosty reception than Hero - especially for a girl, such a masculine...
Meh - I like it. I'm not sure it works with Rotella as the surname, but I think its workable - I've heard far worse names. It suits her style and she says she's liked it since her schooldays since...

Alex: Aww I'm sorry to hear that :/ I'll keep my fingers crossed that it happens naturally for you.
Gigi: Tyne is still a strong contender! Still facing a lot of opposition though lol. Yep, first...
I have a blog but I run it publicy so I'm not 100% sure about how to make a blog private, but the main ones people use are Blogger or Wordpress.
I use Blogger personally and I love it - its really...
Because we're not Jewish, and these paired with such a Jewish surname would sound very much like a Jewish name.
The popularity of Noah, as much as I love it, also rules it out for me. My main...
Thanks for your thoughts, but I disagree.
Glass is an extremely Jewish surname so I think any hebrew names wouldn't work (ruling out the likes of Noah, Micah and Jonah).
Poll: 6 Weeks To Go!!!
So I have been scheduled in for a c-section in 6 weeks time, and we are still not 100% settled on a name...
We have some favourites that have stuck around from the beginning and some new ones too....

I would maybe ask her first and see what she says.
If shes not cool with it, I agree with everybody about deleting her if possible and using the name.
Nobody owns a name, even a really rare...
@Anton - I hope you're right! :)
@Otti - Lol!! Bless her. She sounds amusing :P Ooh I do tarot cards too! Obviously this makes us devil women...(My mother actually took me to see a nun when I...
@Ottilie - LMAO!!! Ohh that is hilarious. And also funny coz I actually do mess around with candle magic and I DID do that to Jon! Lol!! :D Ssssh...
But then again I see her point, I mean...not...
East - Thanks :) Yeah, I think I have to try and stick to it. I'm just going to try REALLY hard to avoid any further name conversations with the mother.
Ottilie - Hehe, it was very cute! :) And...

I love the name Marnie (Hate the name Ethel!) - Marnie to me is very much an old fashioned name (As others have mentioned, its use in a Hitchcock film adding to this), in a similar vein to Ethel (but...
east93 - No she hasn't said its chavy, just that its "black"...apparently if she heard the name she would assume that the bearer was black. I don't understand how you can get that association without...
Ottilie - Yeah thats true! I do think I'll regret it if I don't use it. Did I tell you that we were playing around a few weeks ago calling out different names to the bump and he kicked FOUR times in...

I'm in England and I second the PP - Alfie is the one I would say is common here. And at the moment it is VERY trendy here, I have met probably about 20 little Alfie's in the last year alone.
Hmm could be, I'm not sure if she'd know who he was though. Possibly she's relating it to Tyson as a PP commented that they were similar?
Even so though, she's ridiculous. I don't understand how I...
Thanks guys. I know I have to stop telling them, but the problem is we've already made the mistake - Tyne was the first name we loved and we told them, and they hate it. Now every name I come up with...
I need to whine :(
The name situation is really bringing me down. I'm sick of my parents forcing their suggestions onto me and criticizing mine & OH's ideas - I KNOW I shouldn't tell them any...
