My two cents on each:
Adilet - OK but I am not a fan of the NN Addie or names like Addilyn and this is getting close.
Cadenza - too much like Credenza (I'm an Architect)
Edwina - OK, but could...

William (and possible variations of it, Will, Billy even Wilbur) seem a bit too close to Tilly to me. I like William but would like to see something a bit different sounding to go with your other two...
Poll: Lovely. Thank you :)
Lovely. Thank you :)
Poll: I agree :)
I agree :)
Exactly why we chose it....as my husband said "if Shakespeare can use it, why can't we?"
This is really great to get a gauge of what others think when they hear it....not very commonplace today...
Yes. This is precisely why we like it....it's not new or made up, although it is uncommon.
I posted a poll between the names Hal and Henry in the babynames section and the results were tied.
Thought I would reword the poll since I'm really looking for opinions of Hal as a nickname for...
I know. I had never thought of anything as a nickname for Henry. It came about on a family vacation this summer and totally stuck. Everyone loved it - it was pretty fun for him.
We all love his...
So we have 2 male babes. Henry Oliver (4yrs) and Frederick Louis (1.5yrs) We plan to call Frederick by Fred as he gets older (right now we use both Freddie and Fred equally). We adore Frederick but...
This is a really good point.
Our last name starts with "Ch" and yes, does seem like a hard 'c'. It seems to blend a bit now that I think about it. Although I do think he would go by Freddie as a...
We have settled on Frederick for a first name (after cycling between Frederick and George for a few months). However, we are struggling with a middle name for our potential baby boy.

So I love the name Zelda as well (as in Zelda Fitzgerald) - but my husband is concerned about the video game connection.
What do you all think about Margot Zelda - could we get...

Thank you everyone :D
smelltheroses...5 Margots in one class in incredible. Where did you go to college (if you don't mind me asking)? I do agree that location is a factor!
Thank you everyone for the feedback!
So. We have had Margot as our first name for a girl since 2010 when I got pregnant with my first. We are currently settled on Margot Plum as our name if we have a girl this time around (our second...

Which do you prefer?
First son is Henry Oliver. George would not have a NN (similar to Henry). Frederick would have Freddie or Fred as a NN.
Poll: Margot _
We are checking in with some new mn options. Please vote or comment. Thank you.
I prefer Vivienne as the spelling and prefer Vivian over Grace.

I'm glad you responded I was blown away by your list as it had all my favorites plus a few other gems. I LOVE Clementine too - so much in fact that we named our little tabby kitten that about 5 years...
